I used to wear only this during middle school, and it's still great now. It moisturizes and brightens my complexion by one shade. It also has a cooling effect, so in summer I just apply this and sunscreen - perfect! It takes some time to absorb properly for a natural brightening effect. You should apply it at least 30 minutes before going out for best results. - me*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 11, 2022
I've been using this product consistently since high school... Even when my skin gets bumpy, applying it has a soothing effect and instantly brightens my complexion. Maybe because my skin is naturally fair, but I felt the effects lasted quite long. I only applied it once in the morning and never needed to reapply... While mask-wearing inevitably causes some friction, this Magic Snow Cream is still the best in my life... Like all brightening moisturizers that instantly whiten the skin when applied, it does have some pilling and separation issues, but I'm okay with all that... Please, can't it come back? I've completely run out and can't find it anywhere. The biggest drawback of Magic Snow Cream? The disappointing fact that it's been discontinued... The scent wasn't bothersome either, and it was so good that I couldn't easily switch to other cosmetics, using it with the intention of training my skin... When I use other brightening moisturizers, I break out, and even though I've splurged on expensive, popular cushions, my complexion looks dull... I'm literally crying right now. I'm not usually one to write such long reviews, but I'm really upset.... I was so happy when the Magic Snow Cushion in shade 17 came out... To think that's discontinued too... I spent so much time going around Olive Young looking for it last summer... Anyway, please... Can't you come back... - mj******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 10, 2021
First off, the most impressive thing was how natural it feels! It's moisturizing, absorbs well, and doesn't pill at all. Unlike other brightening moisturizers that are only hydrating at first and quickly dry out, this one stays moisturizing without feeling sticky. It's simply my holy grail brightening moisturizer. I've been using this for 7 years and have never felt like it caused any blemishes. The scent, while not completely fragrance-free, is quite pleasant. I don't really consider this a downside, but those with a lot of dark spots should keep in mind that this won't provide full coverage for those areas. After applying the Snow Cream, just add some sunscreen and you've got yourself a natural, no-makeup look! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 17, 2020
It does brighten the skin, but in a very artificial way. Use it if you're looking for a budget option, maybe on areas like the neck. It applies rather stiffly, which makes it unpleasant to use... disappointing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 24, 2019
As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm thrilled that the Magic Snow Cream doesn't cause any swelling or tingling! This was incredibly important for me, given how challenging it is to find suitable cosmetics for my finicky complexion. I love how it naturally evens my skin tone! Occasionally, if you apply too much, it can lead to some pilling or uneven application. I find it works well to simply apply sunscreen first, followed by just the Magic Snow Cream! - 25****Dry SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2019
When applied, it naturally brightens your complexion, perfect for achieving that 'no-makeup makeup' look! Nobody can tell you're wearing makeup... it genuinely gives you a natural, radiant glow. I'm not sure if it's because this product doesn't suit me or if it's because I left it on for too long, but I developed severe millet-like blemishes. It had been on for about 20 hours when I noticed the breakout. This didn't happen with other base products I've used. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 4, 2019
It's perfect for a quick no-makeup look when you're stepping out! It feels as moisturizing as applying a hydrating cream. It doesn't seem to cover discolored areas very well. Also, it tends to make the skin look a bit shiny. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 30, 2019
It absorbs well and noticeably brightens the skin It accentuates pores significantly and makes skin increasingly dry over time - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2019
This is practically one of the ancestors of brightening moisturizers, haha! I've been using brightening creams for 8 years now. My original skin tone was #23, but people think I'm a #11-13 - super fair! My secret weapons? Makeup and brightening moisturizers. In my 8-year quest for the perfect brightening cream, I've tried them all. The result? I realized there's no such thing as a flawless brightening cream due to the nature of its ingredients. So, I'll probably never give a full 5-star rating to any. But no matter what I try, I always come back to this one. It's been my ride-or-die for 8 years straight. My #1 pick for brightening creams. **With brightening creams, both the product's texture and your application technique are crucial.** What makes this product stand out: ❣️When applied evenly, it brightens your complexion naturally. It's not just a slight whitening effect - it significantly brightens while still looking like your own skin. ❣️The effects last long. Other products fade or wash off after a few hours, but this one stays put until you remove it at night! ❣️It stays on even if you get a bit wet (just avoid soap). It doesn't maintain 100%, but your skin still looks translucent and bright. Pro tip: for a natural glow, apply this, then lightly dampen your face and pat with a towel. It's not just pale skin - your complexion looks radiantly beautiful. ❣️No white residue. No need to worry about white streaks when it rains or you sweat. ❣️The texture is light, and if you prep your skin well, it's less drying than other brightening products (though some dryness is inevitable due to the brightening ingredients). ❣️When applied correctly and allowed to absorb, it doesn't transfer onto clothes. ❣️Gives you beautiful fair skin, not a ghostly white cast. ❣️Relatively gentle ingredients, even for sensitive skin. ❣️No blemishes if you cleanse well at night and don't leave it on for too long. ❣️Price is so-so, but the generous amount lasts a long time. 📌 Blemishes can occur if left on the face too long or if you sleep without washing it off. 📌 If you don't prep your skin properly, it can emphasize fine lines, pores, texture, and dead skin cells. 📌 Inevitably drying due to the nature of brightening creams. Best to avoid using on the face if possible. 📌 When used before makeup, it can cause caking around the nose and make foundation break down unattractively. 🍯Use on your neck and body rather than your face! For the face, use a color-correcting base to brighten your complexion. 🍯For the body, thoroughly absorb an emulsion first, then gently massage in a small amount of this product for naturally fair skin! This method improves longevity - it won't rub off easily or darken. 🍯Squeezing out a large amount and slathering it on will obviously lead to creasing, dryness, an unnatural look, and transfer issues! - il******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 10, 2019
Perfect for applying when you're in a rush. Excellent brightening effects even with minimal use. Leaves skin feeling moisturized after application. The bottle design makes it easy to control the amount used. When used with foundation, it can create a cakey, mask-like effect. Apart from brightening, it doesn't offer much else. Not likely to repurchase.
