My boyfriend, who has oily skin, uses this as his final step after applying serum. Since I have dry skin, I layer on a bit more. The packaging looks a bit outdated. The skin hydration seemed above average, but since I have oily skin, I broke out with a lot of blemishes after using this While the emulsion had a pleasant scent, the toner had an overpowering alcohol smell. In winter when my skin was so dry that everything I applied just sat on top, this product absorbed beautifully, leaving my skin hydrated. The feeling of my skin cracking when I went outside disappeared! However, in summer you need to be careful with the amount you use. It's slightly inconvenient because you have to wait for this emulsion to be fully absorbed before applying anything else. In summer, it might make your skin a bit oily, so use just a small amount. In winter, you can apply more without it feeling greasy. I highly recommend this for those with dry skin!
