The small size and lightweight make it convenient to carry in your pouch. It combines the coverage of a foundation with the lightweight application of a liquid foundation, seamlessly covering pores and blemishes. Using 100% natural mineral pigments, there is no darkening effect, and it applies evenly and broadly without caking or accentuating dryness, making it useful for touch-ups. It is a moisturizing foundation with good adherence, but without any greasy or shiny feeling after use, so it can be comfortably used by both oily and dry skin types, becoming more hydrating over time.

 Apply this product by hand only. 

The formula has an essence-like, bouncy texture, and using a sponge will cause it to lose its radiant finish. Applying it thoroughly with your fingertips will give you good adherence and long-lasting wear. It has a soft, powdery finish, so you don't need to set it with powder. Even if it starts to break down in the afternoon, it will still look beautiful, like you just stepped out of a hot spring.

However, if you need a perfectly matte, flawless complexion throughout the day, this may not be the best choice, as it can start to look more dewy and relaxed-looking in the afternoon.

For the cheek area, I recommend using a sponge only for a light, natural application. The moisturizing formula means powder blush won't look cakey or heavy. The base holds up very well, so the blush won't disappear. Overall, I highly recommend this product, and I will definitely repurchase it.

 There are no major downsides, and the product has not been discontinued, which is great. I used the lightest available shade, but if there was an even lighter option, I would likely purchase that as well.

 The conclusion is that if you have moderately good or better skin with few blemishes and small pores (and you like a dewy feeling), this product is worth purchasing.

My skin is around shade 17, with a bit of redness and freckles on my cheeks, but otherwise has a moderately good texture. If you build a solid skincare routine and apply the Innisfree Minimum Sun Cream, then use this product by hand, your makeup will be 95% complete for the day.
 
It absorbs well when applied by hand, with minimal creasing or darkening, and most importantly, there is no uncomfortable tightness throughout the day. Even after brushing my teeth, the coverage remains similar to how it looked in the morning, requiring just a light touch-up of lipstick.
 
In fact, using a sponge seems to take away some of the glow, so I recommend applying it thoroughly by hand. Over time, it blends seamlessly with my natural skin tone, giving a beautiful, natural-looking radiant finish. This is quite different from an oily appearance.
 
The aqua foundation had 2 types of PEG, which led to breakouts on my forehead and chin the next day. However, the moisture foundation with only 1 type of phenoxyethanol has been very satisfactory, leaving my skin feeling breathable.
 
If you're interested in trying a Japanese product, have naturally radiant skin that only needs about 30% coverage, and want a very natural-looking glow, I highly recommend this.

I really prefer applying makeup with my hands, so the Kogendo Moisture Foundation, like a BB cream, applies seamlessly with my fingers.

Having a solid skincare routine is the foundation of all makeup, and if I do that well, I don't feel any dryness throughout the day at the office.

In contrast, the Shu Uemura one made me feel dry after application, but this one doesn't have that issue, which is great.

The skin without any breakouts looks like honey skin. For people with good skin, just a simple tapping motion with their fingers could finish their makeup.

I'm grateful that I can even use foundation. I'm so thankful that the Kogendo Moisture Foundation has maintained its formula for over 25 years.

Acne-prone skin with folliculitis

For over 10 years, I've only used Shu Uemura BB cream for my base makeup.
The ingredients aren't great, but strangely, Shu Uemura was the only one that didn't cause any breakouts.
Other 'good' regenerating BB creams would cause breakouts within two days.
It was a situation where I couldn't even switch products.

These days, they say foundation is much lighter than BB cream, so I've been trying silicone-free foundations, and I accidentally stumbled upon the Kogendo Moisture Foundation.

The moment I started using it, I knew this would be my holy grail for years to come.

My T-zone is neutral, and my skin is dry, but this product seems to have a good balance of oil and moisture. It's glowy and supple all day long. When I only use this, my coworkers and people around me envy my skin;;
