As someone with combination dehydrated skin that gets oily around the nose by lunchtime and has sensitive skin, I find this applies incredibly thin and smooth. It layers beautifully, allowing you to build coverage. The best part is it comes in three shades, so you can use them separately on different areas or mix them. It goes on very naturally too. While I appreciate the natural finish and variety of shades, the coverage is a bit lacking. I find myself constantly layering to build up coverage. Lately, with mask-wearing, applying it thickly feels a bit stifling. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2020
First off, I bought this concealer mainly for its ingredients! I prefer a natural, healthy-looking complexion rather than perfect coverage. While this product's coverage isn't exceptional, it looks incredibly natural when applied thinly. Plus, I haven't had any blemishes since using it! Personally, I found the packaging cute, and the attached mirror was convenient. It can be a bit drying. I'm not extremely dry-skinned, just slightly dry, but on days when I skimp on skincare, it can look patchy. Even with a thorough skincare routine, there's still a slight feeling of dryness. Also, don't use the brush that comes with it - it leaves streaks and looks messy. However, I do use the sponge tip on the other end, which is great for spot-concealing acne scars. The third shade is rarely usable as it's surprisingly dark. My sister, who has very fair skin, could almost use it as a contour shade! The color mixing zone is too small and impractical to use, so I just mix on the back of my hand or use the shades directly. Honestly, apart from the dryness and slightly lacking coverage, it's really great. The dryness isn't too bad if you have a solid skincare routine, and since I don't prioritize coverage, it's the best concealer for me! Pro tip: Make sure to prep your skin well, apply with the brush, then pat it in with a damp sponge for the best results! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2020
This concealer is the best at hiding dark circles! The amount is more generous than expected, and it applies thinly due to its creamy texture. It's most affordable when purchased during Olive Young sales! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's definitely a beauty item I'd like to repurchase. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2019
I bought this product before the boycott, so no hate please... The first shade turned out beautifully, and when I mix the first and second shades to conceal dark circles, it doesn't provide perfect coverage, but it definitely improves the under-eye area compared to wearing nothing! I love how thinly it applies, and the adherence is about 3.5 out of 5 stars? If you apply too much, it can pill. Whether it settles into under-eye wrinkles depends on how much you use - naturally, if you apply a lot, it will pill and settle. To be fair, when covering dark circles, you need to control the amount with any concealer, so this level of maintenance is acceptable in my opinion. For covering blemishes, I only use the middle shade. I don't have many noticeable blemishes and don't usually bother concealing them (honestly, I don't even conceal my dark circles that often), so it's hard for me to compare. However, I think it's better than other concealers because you can apply it thinly and build it up in layers, rather than applying it thickly and getting a cakey look. I experienced an allergic reaction and itching... Little bumps appeared under my eyes... Since I used it to cover dark circles, only my under-eye area got bumpy. It felt a bit itchy from the first use, but I didn't have any major reactions, so I used it a few more times. Then my skin seemed to rebel! After about 3 days of soothing it with aloe gel, it finally calmed down. Based on my skin tone (21 Cool), the third shade is too ambiguous to use... It's practically useless. I've never even used it. I recommend buying a new brush. I recommend buying a new brush as the included one is even worse than the Daiso concealer brush. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 26, 2019
Coverage - I have acne-prone skin, and this product does a great job covering most acne scars. It's especially nice when you use the puff for a thin, double layer - it looks natural while providing good coverage. Adherence - It seems to work better with a puff than with a brush. Plus, it's not heavy even when used in summer. The best thing about this product is that you can mix and match the colors to suit your needs. The product doesn't come with an attached mirror, so you'll definitely need a hand mirror. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2019
I loved how thinly it applies and that I could mix the colors myself. I didn't expect much coverage due to its lightweight texture, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well it covered! It doesn't completely conceal acne scars, so you'll need to layer a high-coverage foundation on top for perfect coverage. When I applied it while my skin wasn't in the best condition, I noticed a few blemishes appearing. For flawless coverage, try using it with Estée Lauder foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 1, 2019
Despite being a solid formula, it applies quite smoothly, which is nice. It's great for lightly covering pigmentation around the nose, mouth area, and dark circles with a thin, lightweight application. The built-in brush is just decorative junk. Make sure to buy a separate concealer brush. For a solid concealer, I didn't find its coverage particularly impressive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 19, 2018
. Medium coverage / It's not incredibly concealing, but it does its job adequately. . Having three colors was great for targeting different areas like dark circles, around the nose, and blemishes. If I remember correctly, the rightmost (darkest) shade had a strong orange undertone, which worked well for covering dark circles before applying foundation. . Despite being a concealer, it applies thinly. . The solid texture made it easy to carry around without worrying about leaks. . It didn't cause any blemishes or skin issues for me. . It can emphasize dead skin cells. . There's a built-in brush, but I never actually used it. The brush quality isn't great, and when I tested it, it didn't really help with coverage. I used this product for about six months, and it's been around a year since I last used it, so I've only included the information I can recall. I recommend this for those who don't need strong coverage (like Clio's concealer level) and want multiple shades in one product! <I have slightly sensitive combination dehydrated skin that's prone to dead skin cell buildup> - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2018
- The salmon-colored concealer effectively covers dark circles - Allows for sheer coverage - As time passes, it accentuates dead skin cells and starts to separate - The adherence to the skin is slightly disappointing You can mix different shades depending on the color of your blemishes. For darker spots, blend the dark and light concealers in a 7:3 ratio. For lighter blemishes, use a thin layer of the darker concealer. This technique allows for perfect coverage makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2018
I decided to try this concealer because of its gentle ingredients. Usually, I don't get any blemishes around my eyes, but when I use concealers with lots of silicone, I break out even in that area. This one, however, didn't cause any blemishes. It has great coverage, a good price, and goes on thin. I really recommend it! There's nothing bad to say. It applies well with fingers, works great with a brush - it's all good. It's just as good as the Bobbi Brown corrector. If you tame your brush well and pat it on, you can really apply it in an incredibly thin layer.
