I have sensitive skin prone to contact dermatitis. Currently, most of the inflammation has subsided. I bought this to cover the remaining red marks. The ingredients are good, and the price is quite reasonable. About 10 minutes after applying the concealer, that area became itchy and turned red. I immediately wiped it off with Bioderma cleansing water and applied CellFusion C Blemish Balm, which helped calm it down. I guess good ingredients don't always mean it's suitable for everyone. If you have contact dermatitis, it's best to avoid using this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 4, 2019
I bought this product before the boycott, so no hate please... The first shade turned out beautifully, and when I mix the first and second shades to conceal dark circles, it doesn't provide perfect coverage, but it definitely improves the under-eye area compared to wearing nothing! I love how thinly it applies, and the adherence is about 3.5 out of 5 stars? If you apply too much, it can pill. Whether it settles into under-eye wrinkles depends on how much you use - naturally, if you apply a lot, it will pill and settle. To be fair, when covering dark circles, you need to control the amount with any concealer, so this level of maintenance is acceptable in my opinion. For covering blemishes, I only use the middle shade. I don't have many noticeable blemishes and don't usually bother concealing them (honestly, I don't even conceal my dark circles that often), so it's hard for me to compare. However, I think it's better than other concealers because you can apply it thinly and build it up in layers, rather than applying it thickly and getting a cakey look. I experienced an allergic reaction and itching... Little bumps appeared under my eyes... Since I used it to cover dark circles, only my under-eye area got bumpy. It felt a bit itchy from the first use, but I didn't have any major reactions, so I used it a few more times. Then my skin seemed to rebel! After about 3 days of soothing it with aloe gel, it finally calmed down. Based on my skin tone (21 Cool), the third shade is too ambiguous to use... It's practically useless. I've never even used it. I recommend buying a new brush. I recommend buying a new brush as the included one is even worse than the Daiso concealer brush. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 23, 2019
The clay-like texture makes it easy to spread. With multiple shades available, you can find one that matches your complexion perfectly. Plus, it's affordable and effective. The included applicator isn't practical for applying the product. It's better to use your fingers to spread it evenly. I'm not sure if it's because of this or something else, but despite the good ingredients, it doesn't seem to suit my skin. I developed blemishes. Apply with fingers - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 4, 2019
The color applies naturally and I love its creamy texture. This product gives me blemishes whenever I use it. So I've only used it a few times and it's been sitting almost untouched. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 23, 2018
The three color options make it very versatile for different uses. When applied to the face and gently patted with a puff, the staying power seems quite decent. I really like this product, but there's a major issue... When applied to areas with blemishes, they become significantly worse the next day. It's fine on clear skin, but concealer is meant to cover imperfections, so this is a big problem. The ingredients are supposed to be good, so I'm not sure why this happens. I have sensitive skin and choose products based on ingredients, yet this still occurred. It seems to clog pores. While it was fine on blemish-free areas like dark circles, blemishes worsened over time where I applied it. I'm certain it was this product because untreated blemishes remained unchanged. After not using it for a few days, my blemishes stopped growing and calmed down. This was my first time trying a Japanese product, and I feel very uneasy wondering if it has something to do with radiation. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2018
At first, I thought it would be fine since it was matte, provided decent coverage, and had good ingredients... Hmm... I don't understand why I'm getting blemishes!! The ingredients are supposed to be good, but I break out after applying it. Initially, I didn't think it was the cause, but I kept getting new blemishes, which made me suspicious. So I tried applying it to areas where I didn't have any acne scars, and sure enough, by evening I could see new blemishes forming. I'm not sure which ingredient doesn't agree with my skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 28, 2018
I've never seen a product that covers dark circles this well! It's amazing at concealing under-eye shadows. The color seems to be really good too! Personally, I find the staying power to be lacking. For those with atopic or super sensitive skin (I'm not sure if it's just me), after using it for a few days, my skin started to react and became itchy. I don't think I can use it anymore. Also, for those with dry skin, how do you manage to use this? It makes my skin crack and really emphasizes dead skin cells. Oh, and the more I apply it, the redder my face seems to get. If you have sensitive skin and notice it's not working for you, I'd suggest stopping use immediately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2018
The built-in brush didn't seem to provide good coverage, so I tried applying it more broadly around the cheekbones with a wedge puff. The makeup lasted well and made my skin look beautiful. For the first time in my life, I experienced redness. After removing my makeup, I noticed my cheeks were red. At first, I thought it might be psychological, but the redness persisted. It took quite a while for my skin to return to normal. This reminded me that even products with gentle ingredients aren't necessarily suitable for everyone. Currently, I'm using Bourjois concealer (though I'm not sure about its ingredients). It's working well for me - no blemishes, not drying, and generally suitable for my skin. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 4, 2018
I'm on my third bottle of this product! The ingredients are great, and the coverage isn't bad at all. Compared to when I used TheSaem, I definitely noticed fewer blemishes popping up. The texture is just right - not too moisturizing or matte. It feels perfect on my skin! The brush was rough and disappointing! Also, the concealer really emphasized dead skin cells. It's better not to apply it to areas with flaky skin at all. I have acne scars on my cheeks and applied it daily, but it seems like something keeps breaking out there. I used this with the LOHB's concealer brush! The third shade has a lot of redness, so I mix it slightly with the second shade before applying under my eyes. It works wonders for covering dark circles! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 25, 2018
The ability to mix and use three shades, and its relatively good coverage I used this for about a week, and as a result, my skin completely broke out, so I'm now seeing a dermatologist. At first, I didn't know the cause because I was using it with other foundations. I once used it to brighten the dark areas at the corners of my lips. However, the next day, the exact areas where I applied it were covered in tiny blemishes. Since then, my skin hasn't recovered, and I'm struggling. I feel like I might develop depression. The ingredients don't even seem that bad... I guess cosmetics really are different for everyone. Don't just use something because others say it's good. Make sure to test it on the inside of your wrist or neck before buying.
