The fact that it keeps absorbing without pilling is great. I think applying the same product multiple times is the way to solve the quick dryness issue. But if it pills, it's no good. But it didn't seem to work for my skin. My skin is shiny on the surface but dry and sensitive underneath, so the essences from the department store brands feel too harsh for me. I usually use products from beauty salons or dermatologists. I heard the Repacharge C-Serum was good, so I bought it directly. But every time I used it, small pimples would pop up and something kept breaking out on my face. The fragrance being unpleasant wasn't a big concern based on the reviews I read. Even though I have combination, sensitive skin that is prone to breakouts from using functional (whitening, wrinkle-reducing, etc.) cosmetics, I did not experience any breakouts. It is extremely watery, so I was wondering if it would be helpful for hydration. It absorbs quickly, and after absorption, my skin feels plump. (It has a different feel from 'moist' products.) There is no pilling when applied before makeup.
