As someone with a cool summer complexion, I wanted to try a light undertone makeup look, so I bought this! The color is absolutely gorgeous and would be perfect for those with cool summer skin tones! It's a bit disappointing that it slightly emphasizes lip dead skin cells. The formula tends to settle into lip lines, making it difficult to apply smoothly. - be*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 22, 2020
I love the subtle rose fragrance. The color complements summer cool skin tones beautifully. The staying power is rather short. It has a slight white cast that can somewhat accentuate dead skin cells. - hj*****Normal SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2019
The color payoff is great. It's a pink that really complements my sallow complexion. But don't worry, it's not an overpowering pink. As for staying power, well, that's debatable. If there's one disappointing aspect, it's the stingy amount you get for such a high price! For an even more radiant look, try pairing it with Dior's Lip Glow (shade 10). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 7, 2019
For a Coco Shine, Rendezvous has impressive color payoff, making it a staple in my makeup routine. Unlike other Coco Shine lipsticks that tend to be sheer, this one stands out. I've gone through 5 tubes already! As someone who rarely hits pan, I find myself constantly reaching for this and NARS Never Say Never. I highly recommend Rendezvous - it's a must-have! The only downside? The amount of product is quite small. I wish Chanel would increase the quantity. Using a lip brush seems to make the product last longer. - so*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2018
It's moisturizing and gentle on the skin. The color is subtle yet cool, which I love. My mother, who's in her 50s, also enjoys it! If you're looking for a gift for your mom, I highly recommend this. It might suit people with fair complexions even better. The ingredients aren't the best, and the price is a bit wicked. Despite the less-than-ideal ingredients, it works well for sensitive skin. It's a great option for brightening moisturizers that even skin tone without causing irritation. The product absorbs well and doesn't feel sticky, making it suitable for daily use. - pd****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 12, 2018
The ultimate in hydration! The color is quite sheer, but it builds up nicely with layering for a noticeable effect. As a summer cool tone, I found myself reaching for this mainly in summer. It's an incredibly lightweight and bright shade, not one you can just slap on carelessly. It pairs best with a bare face, and becomes tricky to wear if your makeup is even slightly heavier, as it tends to stand out a bit. I'd recommend this only for those with cool undertones. The color can look a bit floaty on the skin? Though in summer, that can actually be an advantage, giving a cool and clean appearance. If you apply a second layer after the first one dries, the color becomes more intense. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 2, 2018
This lipstick has a beautifully delicate pink shimmer. It's surprisingly moisturizing for a lipstick and doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much. You might think it wouldn't be hydrating just by looking at it, but it applies smoothly without feeling matte, which is great. The pink shade seems to suit both cool and warm complexions well. Well, it's Chanel... so the price is steep, I suppose. Other than that, I can't think of any drawbacks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 30, 2017
It's versatile enough to use like a lip balm. Great for daily use. Keeps lips moisturized. It has a glossy finish. If you don't like that glass-like look, you might want to avoid this. - nb****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 4, 2017
It feels as moisturizing as applying lip balm. When used as a base before applying vibrant colors like red-orange or hot pink, it really makes the colors pop beautifully! Despite its moisturizing formula that isn't matte, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells quite noticeably. That's why I don't use it alone, but mix it with other main lipsticks instead! As mentioned in the drawbacks, it looks even prettier when mixed with other colors - ca*****Dry SkinDec 10, 2016
It feels moisturizing and the color is really pretty. My mom doesn't like applying lipstick too heavily, so she just swipes it on lightly once. If you layer it multiple times, the color becomes more intense! If I had to point out a downside, it would be the price - it's a bit expensive to buy on impulse.
