I liked how it was moderately moisturizing and felt comfortable to apply without being too heavy Those with extremely dry skin might want to avoid this product. It's a bit too light for what dry skin types typically need It has a slightly watery consistency, which made it easy to apply even with a cotton pad - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2019
So gentle! I'm using it as a cleansing toner. Love that it comes in a large size. While it may not dramatically brighten the skin, I find its soothing effect to be more noticeable. The downside is that the pump occasionally gets stuck. Given it's a large, budget-friendly option, the packaging isn't particularly attractive. Try decanting it into a mist bottle! It's great to spritz on right after cleansing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinApr 2, 2018
Great value for money! The bottle is huge and sturdy. The pump is durable, and the ingredients are very gentle on the skin. I'm not sure about this one. There's nothing particularly good or bad about it. It's inconvenient to use as a cleansing toner because of its viscosity, and it doesn't even cleanse well. Also, it's not hydrating enough to use for layering toner. It might work well as a toner mask. The ingredients are gentle, and you get a lot of product! - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 15, 2018
The epitome of a decent, ordinary product. Adequately hydrating, without any overwhelming scent or sensation. It doesn't specifically target deep dryness, nor does it leave a greasy sheen on the surface. It's genuinely just like applying a regular toner. There's nothing particularly bad about it, but nothing stands out as exceptional either. It's labeled as a whitening product, but the effects are hardly noticeable. It's also marketed for dry skin, but that claim is equally dubious. If your skin feels parched, try layering it multiple times. - fb*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessSep 24, 2017
At just 9000 won for 500ml, I think this is an incredible value for money with its great ingredients. The texture is watery with a slightly slippery feel, and after use, it leaves your face feeling smooth and silky, as if a film has formed. It seems to work well as a booster for the next skincare steps too. In my opinion, the best toner is affordable, alcohol-free, and moisturizing - and the GBT Lab toner fits the bill perfectly! Plus, it's fragrance-free! This is my favorite part (though I thought I detected a slight fluoride scent at first, I didn't notice it the second time). I used to use Secret Key toner, but after trying this, I realized its scent was too strong and artificial for me. I typically use about 10 different skincare and makeup products, and when they all have strong fragrances, it can give me a headache. That's why I appreciate that this brand's products are all unscented! It reminds me of Sidmool, but feels more affordable, so I plan to keep using it. The lightweight plastic packaging is also a plus. If it slips, it bounces with elasticity instead of breaking. If it were thicker or made of glass, it would shatter immediately, so I like that it's light and durable. It's a bit disappointing that it contains surfactants. I noticed this ingredient in most of this brand's products and wonder if it's really necessary... However, I haven't experienced any major blemishes or issues, so I don't have any significant complaints. It's great to keep in the bathroom and apply right after washing your face, without drying off! The product's texture that leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky is so satisfying! While some people seem to decant it into smaller containers, I find that too bothersome and just apply it directly from the bottle. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 19, 2017
Great value for money with a generous amount! I bought it for the 7-skin method, and I'm not sure if it's the method or the product, but my skin has definitely improved! My pores have visibly reduced, and I'm now on my third bottle. With Coupang's rocket delivery, this is an absolute game-changer! The downside is that it might not be sufficient for dry skin types. It has a runny texture, but it's just like water. I didn't feel too dry because I applied multiple layers, but if you're only planning to use it once or twice, it might be more suitable for oily skin types. - cz****Normal SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2017
I bought this large-sized toner after searching social media for a reasonably priced option. The price varies due to discounts, but you can get two bottles for around $10. It's not completely watery, but slightly thinner than a snot-like texture. The pros are: it comes in a large quantity, prevents deep dryness, and offers great value for money. I've tried various large-sized toners, and honestly, if it doesn't cause blemishes on your skin and is cost-effective, they're all pretty similar. Just check the ingredients to avoid anything that doesn't suit you or isn't good for your skin. I don't recommend using the original bottle. It's heavy and cumbersome. The texture is a bit runny, so it's not ideal as an exfoliating toner. Using it alone can be drying. I've shared my personal solution in the tips section. Buy an opaque or semi-transparent spray bottle and fill it halfway with this toner. Generally, pour in enough for about a week's use. Then mix in 1-2 droppers of your favorite serum. Personally, I've tried The Face Shop's bifida ampoule, sea buckthorn, vitamin C serum (use quickly), propolis, etc. Make sure to use a thin consistency so it mixes well when shaken without separating. You can even use it as an exfoliating toner by spraying it on a puff. This method helps save both serum and toner, reducing waste. Instead of just using it on your face, try spraying it all over your body after a shower. It helps even out your overall complexion. I recommend this full-body application, just avoid colored serums that might stain clothes. It's like treating your whole body to the benefits of serums, not just your face. Replace the bottle every month or two, or when changing serum types. This approach makes any toner work effectively. - ha*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityOct 15, 2016
If you have dry skin, steer clear of this one! I bought it thinking it was for dry skin and had gentle ingredients, but boy was I wrong. Using this felt like my skin was being torn apart! As someone with extremely dry and sensitive skin, I checked the ingredients and it seems this would be perfect for those with oily, acne-prone skin... It's definitely not for dry skin types. - kl*****Combination SkinDec 6, 2015
Decent and reliable! It's cheap, comes in a large quantity, and is gentle on the skin. I didn't experience any blemishes, which was great. The liquid formula is perfect for wiping off makeup. (Though I sometimes wondered if it was just water, haha!) I used it in winter and didn't feel particularly dry - my skin felt soft? Oh, and I was a bit worried since I'd never heard of the brand before, but it turned out fine! Highly recommended for students on a budget (large quantity and no blemishes!). As expected, it's unrealistic to expect skin to lighten with just a toner! (Although I always use whitening products for my basic skincare... maybe my skin has lightened as much as it can?) The packaging is a bit flimsy, which is a drawback. The lid arrived broken, so I had to glue it back on. Also, the biggest downside is probably that it gets boring to use since there's so much of it and it doesn't have any special functions. Sigh... The scent isn't great either (but I must admit, with daily use, it becomes oddly addictive). Use it generously on a cotton pad for wiping. Oh, and be careful not to drop the bottle - it looks like it's made of very fragile plastic and might shatter easily. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinNov 28, 2015
The generous amount is great. My skin seems to have become a bit more translucent. It can be drying if used alone. The pump dispenser tends to detach easily. It's excellent for refining skin texture.
