I use it together with shampoo, and when I shower in the evening, I apply it well to my scalp and hair, and then let it sit for over 5 minutes while showering. It really makes my hair feel soft afterwards.
To be honest, even just using the shampoo alone makes my hair feel softer than regular shampoo.

When using the hair pack on dry hair, be sure to apply it to the scalp as well. Rinse it off thoroughly afterwards - the itchiness will disappear.
