I bought it based on the recommendation from my French friend, who said it has fewer harmful ingredients. It does seem gentle. The white cast and spreadability were a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if it actually provides good protection. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2017
My child is fine with using other lotions or creams, but they tend to have allergic reactions only when using sunscreen. Even when I apply my own sunscreen and then use the same hands to apply it to my child, their skin gets red and irritated. However, this particular sunscreen doesn't cause any redness, so I've been using it for years. It has severe whitening effects and poor spreadability, but it becomes fine after a bit of patting. I mix the sunscreen with aloe vera to make a sun cushion. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 4, 2016
Using this sunscreen as a base has made it easier for me to express my skin. It has a bit of oiliness, so it might be good for those with dry skin. When I'm busy, I also mix it with foundation and apply it, and while organic products lack coverage, this product covers well for me. Lavera was a product I trusted and used, but surprisingly, the ingredients are not good. When using it as a base, it's best to apply a small amount thinly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAug 11, 2016
It's said to be mild and have good spreadability when used for overseas purchases... There is some white cast, but it lessens over time.. a bit disappointing.. Considering the price when purchased overseas, it seems to be worth using... - va*******Dry SkinAtopic SkinJun 24, 2016
I've been using this product, but I'm disappointed with the ingredients. I'll have to study them more. I thought the ingredients were all organic, but I'm disappointed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 24, 2016
It's good that it's non-comedogenic, but the white cast is a bit too heavy for me ㅜㅜ It's sensitive, but I didn't have any breakouts The white cast is quite heavy, though - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 23, 2016
I used to apply just any cream, but it would immediately sting or the next day my skin would be so swollen that I couldn't even go to school. But the only thing that works for my skin is Lavera, so I've been using it since I was young. As for sunscreen, I used to use a different one, but it ran out, so I'm using this full-size one now. It makes my skin look a bit lighter, and I think that's a good thing. But the white cast from this is no joke. Just applying one layer makes my skin look extremely pale and it's not at all moisturizing. Mixing it with a moisturizer makes my skin feel more hydrated. - rm*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2015
I've been using La Vera Kinder sunscreen for over 3 years and my face has become whiter and the oiliness is not as much as before, so I've been liking it. It does make my skin quite white, but if I use it moderately, it makes my skin look good. Mixing it would probably be better. - kk******Combination SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJul 17, 2015
It seems mild. Above all, the price is not bad considering it's a non-chemical sunscreen, and the SPF is just right. When applied, there is the typical white cast of a non-chemical sunscreen, but I actually like it because it makes my skin look whiter. Even without applying a cream-type base product, the glow from the sunscreen remains, making my face look healthy. The non-chemical formula may result in reduced spreadability, but it's manageable once you get used to it. Also, if you dislike the slightly shimmery feel typical of sunscreens, you may want to consider that. It has more of a dewy glow than an oily one? It may feel a bit drying in the winter. ----------------2018 Update-------------- While it didn't cause any issues for my skin, I wouldn't consider it very mild. Firstly, it may be difficult for babies to use. It contains many potential allergens, and some of them are also photosensitizing ingredients. I recommend checking the ingredient list carefully before purchasing. Mixing it with other BB creams, foundations, or moisturizers could make it more comfortable to apply. The color of this sunscreen is a slightly yellowish ivory tone. This color doesn't seem to significantly impact the appearance of your natural skin tone. - co********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 21, 2015
I bought it in Germany and it seemed like the ingredients would be good, but it's not that great. There's a lot of whitening, so it's hard to apply on the face and it doesn't really wash off well when applied on the body.
