When using peeling gels, your face usually feels tight, but this product feels like applying a thin soothing gel...? It's not irritating, so my face doesn't feel tight and it's hydrating! I'm not sure about the before and after difference with the peeling gel, but it definitely feels cleaner! The scent is a bit strong, I should say... The fragrance isn't great, but it's not so bad that it would bother sensitive skin As mentioned in the instructions, if you apply the gel evenly, wait for 20-30 seconds, and then gently massage, it feels like the dead skin cells are softening? It's not irritating and absorbs well - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 3, 2019
I bought this because an employee recommended it as a gentle exfoliator. I have to admit it is indeed gentle on the skin. It doesn't seem to show immediate results after use. The scent is somewhat off-putting. The price is also a bit steep, and I don't feel like it's worth the cost... I'd only recommend this to those who are truly looking for a super gentle product that won't irritate their skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 18, 2018
The biggest advantage seems to be its gentle exfoliation that's kind to sensitive skin On the flip side, it doesn't seem to remove dead skin cells very effectively, and I haven't noticed any significant results - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2018
I love that it's not irritating and applies smoothly. Great for combination dehydrated skin. The scent is unpleasant (I'm sensitive to fragrances). While it's good that it's not irritating, it doesn't seem to help with exfoliating dead skin cells. Apart from being gentle, I'm not sure what else to say about it. Won't be repurchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinMay 5, 2018
It was gentle enough to use daily without causing any irritation to my face I'm not sure if the effects justify the price. Since I prefer products that visibly remove dead skin cells, this felt a bit too mild for me - wk********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 10, 2018
When I first bought and used it, my skin felt soft and smooth after washing The more I used it, the drier my skin felt, and it seemed to be removing something other than my own dead skin cells... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 27, 2017
I think I liked it. Although I haven't used it much yet, it's a gommage type, so there wasn't much tightness on my skin. Even though it's for sensitive skin, I wouldn't recommend it for people with a lot of blemishes on their skin. - ko*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 23, 2017
I decided to try the peeling gel from the same brand since Acwell's moisturizer worked well for me. It's not causing any blemishes, so I'm using it without much fuss, mainly because I don't want to waste money. I can't say I'm blown away by it - there's no 'Wow, this is amazing!' feeling. I tend to use it when I notice a buildup of dead skin cells, but it's not a product I reach for often. After using it, my skin feels soft rather than tight. I guess that's because it's gentle on the skin. I considered giving this 2 stars, but I took one off because of the smell... oh, the smell... It's hard to describe - a mix of sour, plastic, and water scents. I'm not exaggerating when I say I almost threw up the first time I used it. I'm quite sensitive to smells, and I'm only using this because I don't want to waste money. Seriously, how do people who like this product deal with the smell? I've somewhat adapted now (though it's definitely not a pleasant scent), so I'm using it, but if you're sensitive to smells, absolutely avoid this product. Also, maybe because it's so gentle, right after using it, it seems like it doesn't remove dead skin cells effectively - they appear almost immediately. Or is my skin just terrible? This bothers me too. Since it feels like it's not exfoliating well, I end up applying more pressure when using it, which kind of defeats the purpose of a gentle product. Anyway, while it didn't cause any blemishes for me, I'm only using it to get my money's worth. I won't be repurchasing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 10, 2017
This is the king of all peeling gels I've ever used! It exfoliates smoothly and effectively. I love how it works without irritation, leaving my skin clean. After using it, my makeup applies flawlessly the next day. I used it during winter and it was absolutely fantastic. Unlike other peeling gels that left my skin feeling tight or irritated, this one doesn't do that at all, which is great. The price is a bit on the higher side compared to other peeling gels. I'd recommend purchasing it during a sale! After exfoliating, try mixing a couple of drops of oil into your toner. This will help you achieve even more hydrated and cleaner skin care results. - gi*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 16, 2017
I bought this product on the recommendation of a store associate when my usual exfoliator ran out. Honestly, it's the most gentle and effective exfoliator I've ever used. The morning after using it, my skin feels incredibly soft and my pores appear visibly reduced. I've realized that whenever my skin starts to break out or feels a bit rough, using this exfoliator solves everything. It made me realize that my face just needed a good cleanse to remove dead skin cells! There's nothing negative about the product's effectiveness, but the price is an issue. Even when I bought it on sale, it was still expensive... really expensive. Also, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find in offline stores. It's such a great product, why is it disappearing? Apply about a nickel-sized amount directly to dry skin and start rolling. You'll be amazed to see all the dead skin cells coming off! The interesting thing is, if there's no buildup on your face, nothing comes off when you roll it.
