Despite being an oil, it has a light texture and absorbs well without feeling heavy. It doesn't seem to address deep dryness completely. I might need to apply it more frequently. It works great when mixed with an emulsion or finishing cream both morning and night, providing a lightweight feel. - ch******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2018
I finally got to try this product. I've been using Sidmool Vitamin E Ampoule for a while, and since this is also a Vitamin E product, I thought I'd give it a shot. It's a typical oil, but on the lighter side. I think it's suitable for most skin types, unless you have extremely dry skin. The scent wasn't bad either... You know those cherries that come with cream cakes? It smells exactly like that. Anyway, it's not an unpleasant fragrance. When I bought it, my skin had flared up due to some incompatible skincare products. So I applied only this, without using any masks, and after three days my skin calmed down and cleared up. As I mentioned earlier, it's a bit light, so it might not provide enough hydration for very dry skin types. Also, the scent might be hit or miss for some people. You can find Vitamin E products with various concentrations on iHerb. They have 5000 IU, 15,000, 30,000, 45,000, and even up to 70,000 IU. I recommend starting with 5000 IU. Once you're used to it, you can move on to higher concentrations. I've used three antioxidant products: Sidmool Vitamin E, Sidmool Ferulic Ampoule, and lastly, this Jason oil. I had high hopes for the Sidmool Ferulic Ampoule because it's said to have a synergistic effect with Vitamin C and E, but I didn't notice any changes in my skin. On the contrary, when I used Sidmool Vitamin E and Jason, my skin's redness subsided more, and I didn't get any blemishes. If I were to recommend antioxidant products, I'd suggest Jason and Sidmool Vitamin E Ampoule. Jason is good for normal to oily skin, while Sidmool Vitamin E Ampoule is great for dry skin or those focusing on hydration management. - an******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 19, 2018
This vitamin oil is easy to apply without feeling heavy. Its water-like consistency makes it simple to spread. After trying other units from the same brand, I found this product to be the easiest to apply and great to use on its own, so it became my go-to. When applied lightly around the eyes and mouth like an eye cream, you'll wake up to hydrated skin the next morning. Being an American product, they didn't pay much attention to the packaging, so it tends to leak easily. I wish they would change the container. Also, please add higher volume options of this oil to the Hwahae catalog. - ha******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2018
The hydration seems good. It's not an oil that absorbs instantly with great absorption, but it's not sticky, which I like, even though it's a bit greasy and needs some patting in. My skin tends to be very dry, so I apply this oil all over my body, including my face. I can definitely feel less dryness compared to before using it. I think the ingredients are decent for the price, so I'm using it well, but I'm not sure about repurchasing. There are many products with better ingredients on the market now, so when I finish this, I might try something else. The scent was just okay. It doesn't feel like using a high-quality, luxurious oil. Still, overall it suits my skin well and offers good value for money. The absorption is average. When applying it to my body, I mixed it with body emulsion. It seems to spread better and the moisturizing effect is enhanced. - to******Combination SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2017
I thought the vitamin E oil would be quite thick, but since the content is low, it feels just like regular oil. It's not a single-ingredient oil, but contains various plant-based oils. Using it on its own was fine, but when I mixed it into a lightweight lotion or cream, it felt less drying, and after using it for a week, I found that it doesn't leave an overly greasy feeling, and my skin has a subtle glow, which I'm really pleased with. So far, there hasn't been any irritation or issues from using it, so it seems to be working well. The American products certainly have poor packaging. The lid doesn't seem to fit the container properly, and it ends up leaking when I use it. I've been using it generously on my face and neck, as it's said to be good for antioxidants and wrinkles. I've also been mixing it into my body lotion to use it all over. It seems like there's more product than I expected, so I'm sure I'll finish the whole bottle this winter. I didn't know before, but plant-based oils like this are apparently more sensitive to expiration dates. Since our skin can only absorb the oils and can't break down toxins, using rancid or oxidized oils can be absorbed and potentially cause issues like rheumatism. It's best to use it all up within the recommended usage period, and don't hesitate to throw it away if it's expired, even if it feels wasteful. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 22, 2017
I purchased it through direct import and it seems they've launched it domestically now. It's a bit much to use on its own, but when I mix it with a cream and apply it, my face just glows ~ Plus, it gives the effect of looking like I was born with naturally great skin. Vitamin really is the best. Not for extremely dry skin - it's difficult to use on its own. The formula is incredibly dense, like honey. - ie***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 4, 2017
The price is affordable and it provides good moisturization. The product itself is not too thin in consistency. So it's difficult to apply it all over the face on its own. That's why I end up mixing it with other products like creams and lotions. This seems to help with faster absorption as well. When using it alone, I only apply it to areas prone to wrinkles, such as the eye area, laugh lines, and neck. However, the absorption is a bit slow. When it first arrived, I was disappointed by how small the size was, but since it's not watery, it lasts quite a long time. I only use it at night though, as I'm worried the oil content might not be good under sunlight during the day. The packaging is the most disappointing part. Inevitably, some product gets left on the lid when closing it. So I have to wipe it off every time. That's why I bought a dropper bottle from the Daiso store and transfer the product into that for use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 7, 2017
The rough calluses on the soles of my feet have become soft and disappeared. The Phaesylon is too oily for me. I really have to be careful around the eye area. Mixing the hand cream with the knee and foot cream is a game-changer for my elbows. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 29, 2017
I tried using it because it was said to be good for acne, but my acne actually got worse. Those with oily skin should be cautious. However, it's nice when applied to the hair. It's also affordable, so I mix it into my body lotion as well. For acne-prone oily skin, rosehip oil seems to be better than this oil. There are many reviews saying it helps makeup apply well, but I guess it depends on the skin type. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 11, 2017
I'm on my 3rd repurchase and still using it. This is a beloved item, especially in the winter. I mix it into my moisturizer, body cream, and hand cream, and apply the pure oil directly to my lips. I make sure to use it before bed every night. Highly recommended!! When I lay it down, the cap area tends to leak a bit 😢 Other than that, it's a really great item that I would recommend. As a multi-purpose oil, it has so many uses. You can mix it into all sorts of products! And the ingredients are reassuringly good!
