Pros
My current foundation is the Kate OC-B, and I have combination skin that is oily but also dry. For fall and winter, I was looking for something more moisturizing than the Kate, and I bought this when it was on sale at Lohbs. It's definitely more hydrating! The color also doesn't have a grayish cast, and it seems to have a yellow base that suits my skin well.
Cons
The coverage seems a bit lacking (I used a damp makeup sponge). Since I have oily skin, the makeup tends to break down quickly, and it doesn't even look nice when it does.

It applies incredibly thinly and feels moisturizing. Using a wedge puff gives amazing adherence, making it truly top-notch for skin expression.
Cons

Pros
I bought the Hwahae Trial Reviewer serum because the foundation reviews were good, but it turned out to be very disappointing. It crumbles easily, gets blotchy, and applies thickly, with no coverage at all. It claims to be hydrating, but the finish is actually more powdery. Applying it with my hands does not make it look natural and pretty at all - it just looks thick. Using a sponge makes the finish even more matte, so that doesn't work either. The brush is a bit better, but it's still a hassle... So I gave up on it for a while, but recently I've figured out how to use it properly again. If I use a matte primer or sunscreen first and then lightly brush on the serum foundation, the powdery base pulls the hydration from the serum foundation, making it adhere beautifully to my face. It stays dewy and smooth all the way until evening, and I don't even need to touch up. The only issue is that it still clings a bit around my nose, so I'll have to experiment more with that. But overall, using a brush to apply it thinly gives great coverage without clinging or darkening, so the base makes all the difference with this foundation.
Cons
Using it alone is not recommended. It has no coverage, and actually makes the skin look worse with its darkening effect. It applies thickly, so a brush is recommended. It is also overpriced in the domestic market.
