Makeup doesn't flake off. Applies smoothly when using your hands. True to its 'serum' name, it glides on effortlessly. The way it melts into the skin is truly the most beautiful aspect. It's a foundation that looks even better as it settles. It blends seamlessly with my skin, like a perfect match. I've never seen a product that looks this gorgeous after it settles. Among the Bourjois line, the serum foundation is unbeatable in how beautifully it melds with the skin. That's why I can't let go of this product, even if the shade isn't perfect...
ConsThe biggest disappointment is that there are only two shades available. That's why it loses one star. One is light but too yellow, while the other is less yellow but too dark. It feels like two extremes. The yellow base is fine (for a cool-toned person), but I wish there were more diverse and balanced shade options.

Even with my dry skin, I used it comfortably during fall and winter without any issues. I bought it at a Paris Bourjois store, and they offer an impressive range of shades.
ConsThe coverage is minimal, and most shades have a strong yellow undertone. The staying power is also on the shorter side.

ConsI bought it without realizing it didn't match my complexion. It has a strong yellow undertone that made my skin look sallow. I ended up throwing it away because I never reached for it.

Adherence: It clings well to the skin. Application: It applies smoothly with a hydrating feel. The scent is lovely. I'm not a fan of strong fragrances in cosmetics, but this one isn't overpowering. It has a subtle, fresh fruity scent that's pleasant and not off-putting.
ConsThe color and coverage are a bit disappointing. The shade is yellowish and dark with almost no coverage, making it difficult to use on its own. Color: I'm close to shade 21, and most people fall between 21 and 23 with variations in skin brightness and tone. I bought 51 Vanilla Claire, which has a yellow base and is darker and more yellow than a typical 21 shade. Many women want a brightening effect, but this product is more suitable for those looking to even out their skin tone naturally rather than brighten it.
TipIf you're looking for a hydrating product with good application and adherence but don't like yellow bases, try mixing it with a pink-based product. I recently bought another product with a strong pink base that looks too pink when used alone, but when mixed with this one, it matches my complexion well. Many people probably already use this method, but I thought I'd share it as a tip.

The fragrance is lovely!
ConsThe coverage is weak and it doesn't last long. It also has a rather strong yellow undertone.

I've been using it with good results.
ConsThere are two shades available, but both have a yellow base. For someone like me who already has yellowish skin, it made my complexion look too much like my natural skin tone.

The standout feature of this product is how lightweight and comfortable it feels when applied. I also love the fruity scent. As someone with combination skin, I don't need a completely oil-free formula, so as time passes, it beautifully blends with my skin's natural oils, creating a gorgeous glow! The yellow-based tone suits my complexion perfectly, which is another plus. It doesn't make my face look disconnected from my body, resulting in a natural appearance.
ConsBeing a 'serum' foundation, it's quite hydrating, which would be great for those with dry skin. However, when I first applied it, it looked a bit too rich for my liking. While the yellow-based tone worked well for me, some people might find it excessively yellow for their taste.
TipI apply it using a damp Real Techniques sponge, which works wonderfully. To address the oiliness I mentioned earlier, I simply dust some Rimmel translucent powder over it, and the issue disappears! Those with dry skin might be fine using it as is, but if you have combination or oily skin like me, setting it with powder would probably work best.

Lightweight? The adherence isn't bad either. I like that the container is light and doesn't take up unnecessary space (portability is a plus).
ConsAbove all, the shade... Even though I bought #51, it's too dark for someone like me who usually uses #17. From my perspective, even #21 wouldn't be light, but rather just skin-tone... Still, the color isn't purely yellow like it would blend beautifully with anything, it's more of a yellow with a slight orange tint, hmm...
TipTry mixing it with other products.

Absorbs well You can apply it smoothly like an emulsion It feels moisturizing when applied, then transforms to a soft, matte finish It applies thinly, so you can layer it without feeling heavy or experiencing pilling 2. Scent The fragrance isn't overpowering and has a pleasant aroma I'm usually sensitive to cosmetic scents, but this one isn't bothersome 3. Coverage It's not bad in terms of coverage - not amazing, but not poor either Being yellow-based, it seems to cover redness well The yellow base gives a natural look, as if you're wearing light makeup
Cons1. Price Honestly, it's a bit pricey at full retail. I bought it at the lowest online price of 25,000 won, which seems reasonable if you can find it at that price 2. Lid The lid is a bit loose, unfortunately 3. Color The color is very yellow... and not a particularly flattering shade of yellow I'd recommend using this as a base and finishing with a cushion foundation that's half to one shade lighter. Alternatively, you could mix it with something else Not recommended for those with fair skin or those aiming for a lighter complexion
TipTo achieve a prettier color, try mixing it with other products!
