It's gentle on the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin feeling hydrated. The gel-like texture doesn't feel heavy or sit on top of the skin. It's perfect to apply after your toner as the next step in your skincare routine. The product is almost fragrance-free, making it ideal for those with sensitive noses. The hydration doesn't last long. While it absorbs well and provides immediate moisture, you'll feel deep dryness soon if you don't apply something on top. It's best to follow up with a slightly heavier cream, even if it's just a light layer. Make sure to pay extra attention to your cheeks and eye area - they definitely need that additional moisture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2019
I have blemish-prone skin, but Garnier's cleansing water works well for me. So I decided to try this cream since it was affordable, and it turned out to be pretty good. After checking the ingredients on Hwahae, I noticed there are quite a few potentially harmful components. However, I don't think these have caused any blemishes for me. I usually break out when using rich creams, but this one is lightweight, which I appreciate. I apply it both at night and in the morning, and it doesn't cause my makeup to pill or slide off, which is great. It's been quite dry lately, so this alone isn't quite enough. I've been using this as a base, then mixing camellia oil with Dr.G cream, and finishing with aloe gel. When I first applied it, I thought my face was on fire. The burning sensation really startled me, and there was also a slight tingling feeling. Applying aloe gel helped a bit. From the next day on, the burning sensation gradually decreased, and now that I'm almost finished with the bottle, I don't feel anything when I apply it. This would be great for a light, cool application during the summer months. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 21, 2018
The texture itself is wonderfully moisturizing. When applied to the face, it has a cool, gel-like sensation. While it feels hydrating when first applied, over time it actually seems to make my skin feel drier. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2018
I really liked how lightweight it was and how well it absorbed! I think it'll be perfect for light use even in summer. For me, it caused a burning sensation right after application. I haven't seen many reviews mentioning this, so I guess it just doesn't suit my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2018
It seems to absorb well and leave the skin feeling clean. It's great for light, everyday use. My skin feels a bit itchy, possibly due to some allergenic ingredients. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 7, 2017
The gel texture absorbs quickly and feels like it dries fast. It has a pleasant apple and grape scent, and it's an affordable hydrating moisturizer. This would be great for those with oily skin. It dries a bit too quickly. It would be better if it had a touch more richness. Because of this, you definitely need to layer a cream on top. Keep reapplying it lightly throughout the night. This will ensure your skin stays continuously hydrated. - ko******Dry SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2017
It feels instantly cool when applied and absorbs well, leaving a fresh and powdery sensation! This cream was perfect for summer use The hydration might be a bit insufficient for dry skin, so I wouldn't recommend it as a night cream - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 12, 2017
It's incredibly lightweight. Despite being a gel formula, it's packed with hydration, absorbs well, and leaves my skin feeling soothed after use. It feels slightly drying. Unlike a cream, it doesn't create a rich layer on the skin. You get a generous amount for an affordable price! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinDec 23, 2016
While living abroad, I developed seborrheic dermatitis and was searching for a gentle moisturizer. This cream significantly reduced redness. Importantly, it didn't exacerbate my condition during use. With continued use, I noticed the hydration wasn't particularly strong. Given my seborrheic dermatitis, dead skin cells would reappear after some time post-application. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 30, 2016
It provides long-lasting hydration without feeling greasy. The affordable price makes it perfect for summer use. The scent is off-putting, and it causes a burning sensation when applied. I'm not sure if it contains irritating ingredients or if it just doesn't suit my skin. Being pregnant, I've stopped using it as a precaution.
