This is... simply one of the top products in the Guerlain line. While I didn't see much effect from serums in the Orchidée line, this one noticeably calms my skin by the next day. While the performance is flawless, the price is undeniably steep. However, since this is a product I use only twice a week, it might be more justifiable for some.

As a freelancer, I sometimes work through the night and sleep at dawn. When I slather on this mask before bed, I wake up with skin that looks like I've had a deep, restful sleep. It doesn't completely tackle my enlarged pores, but it does wonders for my complexion.

I had this applied during a Guerlain spa treatment, and when I tried it at home with vinyl gloves on, it felt like an incredibly indulgent self-care moment. My hands suddenly looked so bright... They said something about improving blood circulation, it was really amazing.

The twist-off lid is a bit annoying. It would be better if it was squeeze-out or pump-style.

Simply put... this is the best. After splurging on department store cosmetics in my early 20s and realizing it was all just fancy packaging, I started looking for cost-effective products. I began with the Orchidée Impériale essence, and when the store associate insisted I had to buy this, I was skeptical... Wow... Now I find myself recommending the mask even more than the essence.

It's worth every penny. Rumor has it that LVMH Chairman Arnault uses Guerlain products... even though they own Fresh too. Anyway,

I go around recommending it everywhere. I've never seen anyone complain after using this.
I even give out samples telling people to buy it! Good things should be shared, right? For a while, I was practically a Guerlain mask evangelist!

Apart from the wickedly high price, I couldn't find any other drawbacks. I can't even imagine how many tears I'd shed if I accidentally spilled this!

What more can be said about Guerlain's Orchidée line? It offers the perfect balance of richness and hydration, with excellent absorption and added functional benefits!

Truly... The morning after using it, I can clearly feel that it's Guerlain. When I first tried it, it was such a revelation that I think it's undoubtedly the number one night cream. Despite containing some less-than-ideal ingredients, for my combination skin, it didn't cause any blemishes. Instead, it made my skin look flawless. I'm extremely satisfied with this product. It works hard to give that Inner Glow, absorbs well, and really balances the oil and moisture in my complexion.

It's crucial to apply this at night before sleeping! Applying a thin layer before makeup isn't terrible, but since you'll have to wash it off with your makeup later, it feels too wasteful to use such an expensive product that way.

Some might complain about the number of potentially harmful ingredients (especially Hwahae users who are extremely sensitive to this). However, I believe a cosmetic product fulfills its purpose if it improves your skin when applied. We're not dusting our skin with lead powder like in ancient China. What's wrong with a bit of preservatives within safe limits to keep the nourishing ingredients fresh? I used to be obsessed with harmful ingredients too, but it's illogical to fuss over trace amounts in topical cosmetics while readily consuming diet pills that can wreck your liver and kidneys, not to mention cause depression. Think about it - even water goes bad if you keep opening and closing the lid. A product with nourishing ingredients that lasts for months needs some chemical preservatives; otherwise, that's problematic in its own way. With cosmetics, you should always try them first before judging. Nothing varies as much from person to person as skincare products. Of course, given the high price of this product, the opportunity cost is significant, so it's best to try a sample first before purchasing.

This package is quite heavy and substantial, but it feels like magic when I hold it in my hands - it seems to shrink! After applying this and sleeping, my skin texture is noticeably different the next day. Those pesky little blemishes just disappear, and after cleansing with water or a mild cleanser, my skin feels incredibly soft - it's indescribable! I love that there's no hassle of having to carefully align it on my face, deal with dripping essence, or time when to remove it like with sheet masks.

It's expensive. Really pricey, haha! I'm considering repurchasing, but next time I want to try the Chanel sleeping mask first and compare them.
