As a fan of Sisley, I've been hesitant to use their products due to some questionable ingredients. However, this one seems to have fewer of those concerns, which is why I decided to give it a try. The positive aspects are certainly... Unfortunately, it doesn't agree with my super sensitive skin. The packaging is also a bit frustrating - the twist-open design means the lid often comes off, making it inconvenient to use. When choosing skincare products, it's important to consider both the formulation and packaging. For those with sensitive skin, patch testing is always recommended before fully incorporating a new product into your routine. Despite the brand's reputation, individual experiences can vary greatly, especially when it comes to skin reactions and product effectiveness. - ch************Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 30, 2025
The scent is absolutely divine! It has this fresh, summery forest aroma that instantly makes you feel light and refreshed. The lotion's texture is far from heavy or sticky - it's wonderfully lightweight and silky, allowing for a comfortable, non-greasy application. It's a hydrating emulsion that absorbs well, making it suitable for both oily and dry skin types. Even with my super sensitive skin, I can smooth it on without any irritation. It's just so gentle and soothing! Honestly, there's nothing to fault about this product except for its price tag! I keep it in the fridge for an extra cooling effect! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2023
Even with just a small amount, it's moisturizing and absorbs well. As someone with dry skin, I can really feel the hydration after using it. There's not really anything to complain about, except maybe that there's a bit of product that hardens around the dispenser opening. That's about it. - ca**********Combination SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2022
This product is really quite good! While I'm not sure if it visibly improves wrinkles, the hydration effects seem excellent. It's also gentle on the skin. I use the Dokdo Toner as an exfoliating toner and this product as a serum substitute. If you think of it as a toner, the price is steep, but if you consider it a serum, it's in a reasonable price range! First off, the price is quite steep, and when you look at the ingredients, it's hard to understand why it costs so much. There are many other products that are cheaper and just as good, so I can't say it's great value for money. However, if you consider its excellent finish and texture, it might be worth trying. I have combination dehydrated skin, so I use this in the hydrating serum step of my routine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 24, 2022
As someone who finds layering skincare products tedious, this Sisley emulsion is perfect as the first nourishing step after cleansing. It feels lightweight yet nourishing. There's no stickiness, and it's incredibly smooth. Applying this first significantly improves the absorption of serums that follow. The price is a bit steep, but that's typical for the entire Sisley line... Instead of using a full pump, try using half a pump, let it absorb, then follow with another half pump. This method seems to provide even better hydration. - sp********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 5, 2022
I love how incredibly smooth my facial skin texture has become. I'm already on my second bottle! The price is a bit steep, unfortunately. It lacks nourishment and hydration, so you definitely need to apply a cream afterwards. I apply it right after using toner. - an*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2022
It calms the skin while making it smooth. It's a translucent, water-like emulsion, and a small amount goes a long way. The quantity is generous, and the ingredients are decent. The scent is botanical, similar to Aveda - it's a bit strong at first but quickly fades when you apply cream over it. It makes your skin incredibly smooth but also extremely dry. The texture is very thin, absorbs lightly, yet is quite potent. It's definitely not for deep hydration. I use it more as a functional skin serum. Make sure to apply a hydrating serum or emulsion before this, and follow up with a heavy cream to prevent skin from feeling tight. The container is plastic, but the pump locks which is nice. When using this, try pairing it with a full, intensely hydrating routine - toner, serum, emulsion, and cream. Your skin will become incredibly firm and supple. If you have a rich cream you don't often use due to its oiliness, try applying it after this product. They seem to work well together. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2020
Even though it's a toner, it's so nourishing that I can just follow it with an emulsion. The scent is absolutely divine, and it seems to help calm my skin too. The price is wickedly high, haha! We all know Sisley products are great, but the cost is seriously no joke. - pa******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2020
It's great to start your anti-aging routine with a product that absorbs instantly The price! With Sisley, it's always about the price! Honestly, apart from the cost, there's nothing to complain about with this product After using Doctor Oh, I pat this on for my Pink Skin routine - ya******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2020
I'm already on my 5th bottle! As someone with typical combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, I can't just use any product. Especially rich or intense formulas often lead to blemishes. I'm particularly prone to inflammatory acne when my pores get clogged. However, my skin also suffers from deep dryness, so not using anything is a disaster too. The texture is like a thick essence-type toner, and one pump is enough for the whole face. Layering it two or three times works wonderfully. It feels much more like an essence than just a basic toner for prepping the skin. The product is so good I can't give it up, but the only downside seems to be the wicked price. For my combination dehydrated skin, I apply this after using an exfoliating toner. I layer it thinly two or three times. This method helps the product penetrate deeper, leaving my skin feeling hydrated for longer and seems to help with wrinkle improvement too.
