I switched to this after my brightening cleanser was discontinued, and I'm writing this review because I'm worried this one might be discontinued too! I have combination dehydrated skin with large pores and super sensitive skin that's prone to irritation. However, this cleanser doesn't cause any irritation or deep dryness. It not only removes makeup but also deeply cleanses impurities and excess sebum - I can even feel the difference on my hands! The price is reasonable too. Please don't discontinue this product! There are no real downsides. Please, please don't discontinue this product! If I had to mention one minor drawback, it would be that following up with a foam cleanser makes your skin feel even cleaner. While any cleansing product can be harsh if used for too long, this one is relatively gentle compared to others. The longer you massage it, the more effectively it removes excess sebum. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 2, 2021
Excellent cleansing effectiveness, removes makeup gently without drying out the skin. No real downsides, except the cleansing oil is a bit on the pricey side... - pp*******Oily SkinAcne SkinAug 20, 2021
Affordable price point Moisturizing and lightweight formula Excellent water-based compatibility Doesn't completely dissolve sebum, seems to only cleanse surface-level oils - us******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 25, 2021
I'm really satisfied that my skin doesn't feel tight after cleansing. While skin types vary from person to person, this product caused dozens of blemishes to appear on my skin and completely upset my complexion. It's a product I never want to use again. - rb******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2021
Even with extremely oily skin, this cleansing oil seems to be a decent, all-around option. While I don't have sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any irritation! The satisfaction of seeing sebum and dead skin cells come off during the rolling process without adding water is quite something! It feels like the emulsification process doesn't work well, leaving a somewhat unsettling feeling. Also, the scent is quite strong. It's not necessarily unpleasant, but it's certainly not a pleasant fragrance either. - yu********Normal SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2021
Great for removing blackheads and it wipes off makeup cleanly. Even my dad uses it! Some ingredients might not be ideal and could cause blemishes. Those with oily skin should be careful when using this. - ja********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2020
An Olive Young employee recommended this, so I gave it a try. I tend to wear heavier makeup, but this cleanser removes it thoroughly. Personally, I preferred the green one over the blue. I didn't find any downsides. However, I noticed the ingredients aren't great. As long as it doesn't cause blemishes, I'm just ignoring that and using it anyway. It's cheaper to buy online. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 7, 2020
Skin type: Dry, Normal. For reference, most products generally work well for me. Pros: The sunscreen washes off easily. I'm not sure if it's just me, but not only did this fail to reduce my blackheads, I've also developed some blemishes on my forehead. This started happening exactly on day 4 of use. Now, even after washing my face, the surface always feels excessively oily while the deeper layers feel extremely dry. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2020
I've been using this cleansing oil for nearly a decade. While I've switched to a low pH cleanser for my second cleanse due to recent trends, I still use this product for my first oil cleanse... I just can't switch, please don't discontinue it! The ingredients list could be a bit better, but it's still good since it removes even the most stubborn mascara completely You can get two for the price of one when you buy online - lo*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2020
First off, I absolutely adored the scent - it was totally my style! Plus, I snagged it during a sale for around $12, which made the price pretty reasonable. The downside? It stings a bit if it gets in your eyes. I wear contacts daily, so my eyes might be more sensitive, but when I accidentally got some oil in my eye while massaging it in, it did sting a little. Not too badly, but enough to notice.
