(At first I found this a bit unpleasant, but after using it a few times, I appreciated how moisturizing and non-drying it is.) But they say that aggressively scrubbing to completely remove all makeup can actually be more irritating to the skin and strip the skin's protective barrier. Rinsing it off gently seems to work surprisingly well without causing any major breakouts. I'd recommend using a cleansing lotion as the first step for those with sensitive, acne-prone, and dry skin like mine. I saw significant improvements within 1-2 weeks. Of course, I was also careful with my diet, but I really feel that cleansing is so important. I've almost used up a whole bottle, so I anxiously reordered 4 more. I really hope this product doesn't get discontinued and that I can keep purchasing it directly like this.❤️ I also like the clean, functional pump design and the practical, sleek Eucerin packaging.
ConsI do wish they had a larger size option available. Given the nature of cleansing lotions, I tend to use it a bit generously, so I go through it quite quickly. It's also hard to tell how much product is left, so I always have to keep backup bottles on hand.
TipRecommendedHow to use 👍🏻 ✏️ First, wash and completely dry your hands. ✏️ Dispense an adequate amount onto your hands and gently massage it onto your face, avoiding any harsh rubbing. ✏️ Wet your hands and massage your face (emulsification process). ✏️ Rinse thoroughly with water (over 20 times). (If you want an even more refreshing rinse, you can soak a cotton pad with water, gently wipe off the lotion, and then rinse thoroughly. But this was a bit irritating for my skin, so I don't do it. Healthy skin types may be able to add this step.)
