This is a savior for thin, wrinkled lips. The plumping effect is truly excellent and worth every penny. It's not sticky like a lip gloss, which is great, and it lasts longer than you might expect. It's perfect for use in spring, summer, fall, and winter - all year round! If you prefer something more hydrating than a matte lip product with a glass-like glow, I highly recommend this product. The price is wickedly high. Also, it's a bit sticky, so on windy days your hair might get caught. It might be irritating for those with sensitive lips! I was startled when I first applied it because it stung a little. Apply it after washing your face in the morning, before your makeup, and your lips will be smooth and ready for lipstick later. If you apply a light, moisturizing tint and then this product on top, you'll achieve that pure, innocent look.

When you apply it over your lip line, it stays hydrated for so long, which is amazing! It's absolutely fantastic... The subtle color means it pairs well with any lipstick. While it's suitable year-round, I think it's especially perfect for winter lips. I had no idea about the ingredients...! Despite that, because it stays moisturizing for so long when applied, I'll probably continue using it. It gives a refreshing, cooling sensation that feels really nice. When applied over other lip products, it blends naturally, creating a beautiful mix of colors. Plus, it has a lovely fragrance. 1. It's too expensive for a clear lip gloss. 2. The applicator gets dirty after just a use or two (though this might be unavoidable with clear glosses... but come on, cosmetics companies, in this day and age, where's the innovation?). 3. I'm skeptical about whether it actually plumps lips as a 'maximizer'.

The instructions say it's safe to wear overnight, so I mainly used it as a lip balm substitute before bed. It's quite pricey and has a sticky texture. Personally, I don't prefer this type of consistency, so I probably won't repurchase it. It might sound contradictory, but you'll understand once you try it. Applicator: The applicator is curved to match the contours of your lips, making it easy to apply. Price: Unfortunately, it's on the pricier side. Unless you're buying it duty-free, it might be a bit of a splurge. Tingling sensation: I was so surprised by the intense tingling on my lips that I even called the store thinking there was an issue with the product. Maybe it's because it was my first time using a maximizer? At first, it was even a bit painful... Though I've gotten used to it now! I got to try this expensive product as a gift, so it was free for me! The hydration is great. Maybe it felt even better because it was free? Haha, just kidding! Anyway, it's Dior after all. This is the true holy grail. Even for someone with extremely dry lips who can't live without lip balm even in summer, this product is incredibly moisturizing. It provides enough hydration to cover even the driest of lips. There's absolutely no color payoff. The plumping effect is not very noticeable. The ingredients... well, they're not great, but I have no choice but to use it. The price is also a downside.
