Switching to this water-based cleanser has been great - it removes makeup well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. One cleanse isn't enough, so I'm double cleansing. Reviews claim it's excellent for blackhead removal, but I'm not sure if it's that effective in that regard. My cleansing routine: Sidmool Cleansing Milk, followed by Hansalim Cleansing Water, and finally COSRX Good Morning Low pH Gel Cleanser. It effectively removes sunscreen and light makeup. I love that it's not oily, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after use. My elementary school-aged children also use it to remove their sunscreen. It's gentle and cleanses well, which is great. This gentle cleansing water is perfect for a light, everyday cleanse. The ingredients seem to be quite mild on the skin. As someone with extremely sensitive, atopic skin, I can't use just any product. However, I've been using the Nature Republic products without any blemishes! Gentle with a subtle scent, I thought the ingredients would be good, and checking Hwahae confirmed it. Actually, I accidentally added this to my cart instead of cleansing oil, so I don't use it daily. I have dry skin, so I don't reach for it often... But those who like cleansing waters or have combination to oily skin might find it works well for them! Gently removes daily makeup without irritation. I've been repurchasing this product for years as it doesn't cause any blemishes. It's only available at Hansalim stores. It doesn't effectively remove waterproof gel-type eyeliners, so you'll need a separate lip and eye makeup remover for those. Instead of using a puff, pump twice into your palm, lather it up, and massage directly onto your face. Use it like you would a cleansing foam. For heavy makeup, repeat this process twice and you'll feel clean without needing a separate foam cleanser. It removes even heavy makeup effectively and is gentle on the skin. I'm on my third bottle now, and I haven't experienced any blemishes. It's fantastic! I highly recommend it for all skin types. It's a cleansing water, but with a touch of oil mixed in. So you can simply pump it onto your hands a couple of times, massage it onto your face without a cotton pad, then wash with soap to complete your cleansing routine. I love how easy it is to use. There's nothing to complain about. I'm struggling to find any drawbacks to mention.
