ProsI had a strong, honey-like complexion as a teenager that didn't have any trouble no matter what I applied. But after becoming an adult and wearing makeup every day, my skin has become much more sensitive. I started getting blemishes on my cheeks and small acne bumps popped up all over.
Even though I diligently applied the products I had been using before, my skin didn't improve. So I completely changed my skincare routine and started using non-irritating products. That's when I happened to receive this product from an acquaintance and tried it out by chance.
The results were satisfactory.
It wasn't an immediate effect, but this product gradually soothed my irritated, sensitive skin day by day.
After finishing this product, I tried an organic aloe vera gel as well, since the non-irritating and moisturizing gel formula seemed to suit me well.
But I've repurchased and am now using this product again.
My skin is dry with a lot of peach fuzz, and the aloe vera felt too watery for me. It felt like it couldn't penetrate into my skin and just dried up on the surface.
In contrast, this product has a bit more viscosity than just a watery gel. So it doesn't just evaporate quickly and feels more moisturizing and suitable for my skin.
ConsOf course, like most gel creams, the moisturizing power may be lacking for dry skin types.
So you shouldn't just finish your skincare routine with this gel cream. You'll need to follow up with a more nourishing product to seal in the moisture.
And I personally lack both oil and moisture, so I have a habit of applying products generously. But with this product, there's a slight pilling effect when I apply a second layer.
So I just apply the appropriate amount in a single layer and let it absorb properly.
TipAs mentioned above, a gel cream alone may not provide enough hydration.
So I've been mixing this gel cream with the Australian Lucas' Papaw Ointment, and they surprisingly blend well together. It's not just a watery gel, so that seems to help.
First, I simply use a toner to refine my skin texture.
Then I apply the appropriate amount of this gel cream and let it absorb.
After that, I mix the Lucas' Papaw Ointment and this gel cream in a 1:1 ratio and apply that cream over my face as a final step.
Since doing this, the small acne bumps on my face have gradually subsided, and I've had fewer breakouts. I hope you all can achieve a glowing complexion!
