Back in my teens, I had that golden skin that never broke out no matter what I put on it. But as an adult wearing makeup daily, my skin became super sensitive. Blemishes appeared on my cheeks, and tiny bumps popped up everywhere. No matter how diligently I applied my usual products, my skin wouldn't improve. So I switched to a gentler skincare routine. That's when a friend gave me this product to try. The results were satisfying. While it wasn't an instant miracle, it gradually calmed my irritated, reddened skin day by day. After finishing this product, I realized that gentle, hydrating gel formulas work well for me. I even tried an organic aloe vera gel afterwards. But I've come back to repurchasing this product. My skin is dry with lots of peach fuzz. The aloe vera felt too watery and seemed to evaporate before penetrating my skin. This product, on the other hand, has a bit more substance to it than just a watery gel. It doesn't disappear right away, leaving my skin feeling more hydrated and suited to my needs. Of course, like most gel creams, it might not provide enough moisture for very dry skin. So don't finish your skincare routine with just this product - you'll need to layer something richer on top. Also, since my skin lacks both oil and hydration, I tend to apply products generously. But with this one, I noticed it pills if you try to apply a second layer. It kind of balls up like... well, you know. So I just apply a thin layer once, using just the right amount to absorb properly. As mentioned above, a gel cream alone isn't enough for deep hydration. So I've been mixing this gel cream with Australian Lucas' Papaw ointment, and surprisingly, they blend well together. I think it's because this isn't just a watery gel. Start by prepping your skin with a toner to even out the skin's texture. Then apply a proper amount of the Innisfree gel cream and let it absorb. After that, I apply a mixture of Lucas' Papaw ointment and the Innisfree gel cream in a 1:1 ratio as an extra coating. Since I started this routine, those tiny bumps have gradually disappeared, and I've had far fewer blemishes. Here's to everyone achieving that coveted glass skin! - ah*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinFeb 8, 2017
This is truly a holy grail product... Being a pharmacy item, it's trustworthy and affordable! My skin is sensitive and oily, so I've been using just dandelion mist, this soothing gel, and a moisturizer for my skincare routine. My skin has improved so much! As it's a soothing gel, using it alone on the face isn't quite enough. It feels tight afterwards... A hydrating cream is definitely necessary. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 24, 2017
As someone with sensitive skin, I often felt tightness after using gel-type products. However, this one is wonderfully hydrating. I'm definitely considering repurchasing when I run out. It has a slight scent, which is a bit disappointing for me personally as I prefer fragrance-free products. - qh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinOct 10, 2016
The gel texture is perfect for summer use - it's lightweight and applies smoothly. I used to cleanse twice a day due to excess oil, but after using this, my skin produces less sebum. As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, many products irritate my skin, but this one actually seemed to calm the redness. Personally, I find it's not quite hydrating enough on its own during winter. I'll need to layer it with other moisturizing products for additional hydration. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 7, 2015
As someone with dry skin, I love how quickly it absorbs and keeps my skin hydrated for quite a while! Personally, I didn't find it very cost-effective for what it offers.
