I only use this cream during winter. Although I don't have dry skin, my skin tends to get quite dehydrated in the cold months. This cream really helps keep my skin hydrated. I initially bought this and tried using it in summer too, but it caused some blemishes! In my case, it seems this cream was a bit too rich for summer use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2017
It's moisturizing and hydrating without being sticky, and it applies with a soft, velvety finish. After using this, my skin texture and complexion improved, and I didn't experience any blemishes. It's truly my holy grail product. I have dry skin. I can't afford to buy it because it's expensive. I purchased it at a duty-free shop, but when I looked it up, it seems it's not sold in Korea. - dn*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSep 6, 2017
After using Kiehl's Mud Mask and switching to the Calendula Cleanser, my skin suddenly started shedding dead skin cells and became incredibly dry. When I went back to the Kiehl's store, they suggested changing my moisturizer, so I picked up this recommended product. Living in Europe, I didn't realize it was discontinued. But I'm really impressed - it's super hydrating without causing blemishes, has a pleasant scent, and absorbs well. Using this along with the Midnight Recovery Oil for about three days helped calm down the flaking. The price point is quite high, but since I only need to use a small amount, I think it'll last about three months. I plan to keep using it until next summer rolls around. It works wonderfully when paired with the Midnight Recovery Oil. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2017
I've been using this product's eye cream. It applies smoothly, and I'm extremely satisfied with its hydrating power. During seasonal changes, I usually suffer from dryness and itching around my eyes due to allergies, but after using this product, it's pure bliss! I wish it was available in a larger size. When applying twice a day, I could see the bottom of the jar pretty quickly. It's a shame that it's been discontinued. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 7, 2017
It's moisturizing and has a gentle fragrance that suits my skin well! I'm thinking about repurchasing it next time. It's on the pricier side! The cream feels a bit heavy on the skin. - wh****Combination SkinMar 7, 2017
After applying, there's no dryness... I'm not sure about other positive aspects though. It's only available at duty-free shops and quite expensive for the amount you get. It's slightly oily, which makes the skin look shiny, and I'm noticing some small blemishes appearing. I suspect it might be because Kiehl's products contain more chemical ingredients compared to other brands. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2017
It's rare to find such a rich and deeply hydrating moisturizer that works so well for my extremely dry skin. Usually in winter, no matter what I apply, my skin quickly becomes parched and rough. But this cream has been a game-changer this winter! When I apply it before bed, my skin feels smooth and supple even in the morning! However, it might be too heavy to use as a day cream under makeup. Are you sure it's been discontinued? I bought it last year while on a business trip in Western Europe. Now that I'm trying to repurchase, it's hard to find online. Is it possible that it's only unavailable in Korea? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 17, 2016
I've been purchasing this from duty-free shops or in the US. When I first started using it, I noticed wrinkle improvement, so I've been using it for years. However, I'm not sure if I'm seeing much improvement now. I've never experienced any blemishes with it. Some people say it doesn't smell good, but I don't mind it, and I actually like that the scent isn't too strong. Since I dislike artificial fragrances, I use Kiehl's for most of my skincare basics. It's not a type that absorbs well into the skin. After cleansing, it feels like it sits on top of the skin rather than sinking in. There are two types of this product... one is regular and the other is lightweight. I remember that when it was sold in Korea, only the lightweight version was available. I've only used the regular one, so my review above is based on that. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2016
I use this when Kiehl's regular moisturizer feels insufficient in winter. Despite appearing rich, it didn't cause any blemishes. After application, there's a tingling sensation for about 10 seconds, and the lasting power isn't particularly impressive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 1, 2016
First off, there's no deep dryness. I have dry skin, and it's winter now, so my skin tightness is no joke, and makeup doesn't even stick well. But when I use this, I definitely don't feel any deep dryness. The thick texture... If you buy a lighter one, it probably won't moisturize as much. Can't be helped, I guess. But the real downside is the smell! The scent is really unpleasant... It's fragrance-free once applied, but when you're about to put it on your face, you automatically hold your breath. When I apply it generously at night and sleep, in the morning I feel like my skin is deeply hydrated all the way through.
