I love how it expresses my skin's vulnerabilities so well. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm happy with the ingredients and have been using it comfortably. From my perspective, it tends to highlight dead skin cells a bit... Especially when I apply it on days when my skin isn't at its best. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2020
It adheres to the skin incredibly thinly and has a lovely subtle glow. The coverage is also great. Personally, I find it a much better foundation than Sheer Glow. It might slightly emphasize dead skin cells? But I don't feel it's worse than other foundations. It looks beautiful when mixed with a liquid-type subtle highlighter. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2020
First, I'd like to mention that these pros and cons are entirely from my perspective... - Natural Look I prefer light brightening moisturizers. This foundation is like an upgraded version of those! It provides even skin tone correction and flawless skin that brightening products couldn't achieve. In fact, after applying it, you might think your skin was always this fair. It makes your face look bright, clear, and simply radiant. - Lightweight I hate feeling like my face is suffocating, so I love how light and airy this feels. - Wear It's amazing. As time passes and your skin absorbs the makeup, it looks even more beautiful. This is truly revolutionary. - Ingredients With this ingredient list, this level of application, coverage, finish, and wear - I might need to buy 12,000 of these! (Just kidding) - Application I saved this for last because it's both a pro and a con. If your skin is in good condition? It's incredible. It becomes one with your skin. But if you have even a little dead skin? Well, get ready to showcase all your flakiness to the world! When I was younger... around 21, this was my very first foundation purchase. Back then, everything looked pretty on me. I could just wash my face, slap on some toner, apply this foundation, and look like porcelain. Now, even with careful base makeup, it can look cakey on bad skin days... sigh. - Discontinued I went to the department store and they said it was discontinued... Is this true? Honestly, from my perspective, there aren't many cons. It can be tricky to apply, but if you manage your skin condition well and apply it carefully, it's truly a holy grail foundation. It's hard to find a department store brand with such good ingredients. I really love this foundation. The best way is to mix it with something moisturizing and blend it well with your hands! Don't pat it in, just smooth it on and it will absorb quickly. Use your hands to blend it in with quick, light motions. I've tried mixing it with everything (I own), and I'd recommend: Etude House Glow On Base Try mixing it with that. It's a game-changer! - pu******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2020
The matte finish provided decent staying power, and there was no darkening of the skin. I wish it was a bit more moisturizing. It's just too drying for my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 28, 2019
There's a wide range of colors available. The finish looks prettier when it mixes with your skin's natural oils rather than right after application. It was too heavy for my skin. I originally bought it to mix with Sheer Glow, but it still feels too thick. Unfortunately, it seems to build up on dead skin cells, potentially causing blemishes. - su******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2019
- Matte, velvety finish - Excellent coverage - Long-lasting wear - Beautiful color range - Accentuates skin texture - Can be drying - Sets too quickly, making touch-ups challenging Use a pore-blurring brush for application - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 5, 2019
As someone with super sensitive skin, I bought this after checking the ingredients on Hwahae and I'm very satisfied with it! No blemishes have appeared, which is great. It applies thinly with a semi-matte finish, but doesn't cause deep dryness. When I apply it with a sponge, the color looks beautiful and it provides just the right amount of coverage for a foundation. The only downside is that it feels like it slightly fades away in the evening. Rather than darkening, it's more like a thin layer has worn off because it's applied so lightly. If you set a good base, it should be fine. - sz******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2019
The color is bright, it has great staying power, excellent coverage, and the price is reasonable It's inconvenient that you need to shake it before use. It's disappointing that there's no Siberia shade in the cushion range - kc******Normal SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2019
Among bright foundations, yellow-based ones are extremely rare, so I searched high and low before discovering Siberia and immediately purchasing it. The sole reason I bought this is for its color - it's absolutely stunning. The coverage is excellent, and it lasts well. The finish has a velvety, matte texture. It's impossible to apply with any tool other than your hands. The color pigment is so concentrated that half a pump is enough for the entire face, but because you need to spread it out so much, it requires many short touches. Brushes or sponges don't spread it sufficiently and it sets while raising all the dead skin cells. Since the formula is matte, using your hands makes it even more matte, yet you're stuck in the dilemma of having to continue applying it with your fingers. Despite this, I keep using it because of the color. Always apply with hands... Don't mix with other products. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2019
I bought this product for the first time after hearing good things, and it truly lives up to the hype. It adheres perfectly to the skin and offers impressive medium to high coverage. Despite this, it doesn't feel heavy at all. You can apply it thinly for a more natural look if desired. The way it wears throughout the day is beautiful! As someone with a busy job, I can't constantly check my makeup, and usually, it would break down terribly. While all foundations eventually break down, this one does so gracefully. I haven't found another foundation that can beat it in this aspect. It looks so good even after hours of wear that I don't need to touch up. I was genuinely amazed! The beige base gives a radiant finish that I absolutely love. The only downside I've noticed is that it can sometimes settle into the creases around my nose and on the bridge, especially when my skin isn't at its best. It tends to cling and look a bit patchy in those areas. This is probably unavoidable with a matte foundation. However, it's not a major issue if you pay extra attention when applying it there or exfoliate beforehand. This foundation sets quite quickly, so if you try to apply more product over an area you've already covered, it might look a bit patchy. To avoid this, it's best to blend quickly after application and avoid touching up areas once they've set.
