I finish off with sunscreen, and then use this concealer to cover any blemishes or spots. I've received so many compliments on my skin when I go out like this! This concealer alone can transform your skin to the point where it's unmatched by any other product on the market for covering imperfections. It's like magic how it makes blemishes disappear completely. When I went to the store to buy it, they told me it's been discontinued! I can't believe it. No other product, no matter how famous or expensive, can replace this one. After dabbing it on areas with imperfections, gently pat the edges with your fingertip to blend it in. This creates a seamless finish that's completely undetectable. - wj****Combination SkinSensitive SkinApr 26, 2018
It provides great coverage without drying out the skin. The finish is so natural that it makes your skin look truly clean and beautiful. My skin doesn't have many pores and has a good texture, but I tend to get a couple of blemishes periodically, which leaves me with quite a bit of hyperpigmentation. However, since using this product, I get complimented on my skin at least once a day! Even a professional makeup artist told me my skin looked amazing. When I mentioned it was all covered up, they said if I could make it look this good, I should become a makeup pro myself! There wasn't anything I disliked about it, but it's such a shame that it's been discontinued. I heard about the discontinuation on Hwahae and when I went to the store, I was devastated... The reason I'm writing this review despite it being discontinued is that I've learned a lesson - when you find a good product, spread the word to make it a bestseller, so everyone can benefit! I've heard that Bobbi Brown sometimes brings back discontinued products, so if you have time, try requesting it from them! If enough people ask, they might bring it back! Although this is a stick product, I apply it with a brush. Instead of applying it directly to your face, it's best to use a small amount on a brush and dab it onto areas with hyperpigmentation. If you think the coverage is thin, you can layer it two or three times without it looking cakey. Even if some areas are too severe to cover, you can add another layer after powdering without it separating. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation, so covering it all takes a long time (about 20-30 minutes just for concealing), but if you approach it with the dedication of a master craftsman and cover each spot meticulously, your skin will look flawless! - de********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2017
The product has excellent spreadability and adheres well to the skin, making it great for covering freckles and blemishes. When used in a state with high oil content, the product does not apply smoothly and tends to slide off. I used a low-oil base product when applying this. I purchased both the warm sand and sand shades, and I alternate between them depending on the shade of my powder or BB cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 9, 2017
The coverage is great and it doesn't look cakey. When I'm too lazy to do full makeup, I can just use the concealer to cover blemishes, and it works really well. I'm on my third one and plan to keep using it going forward. The price-to-quantity ratio is too low. It doesn't seem to last very long, maybe just a few months. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 16, 2017
The coverage is good and there is little oiliness, so it seems suitable for use in the summer. It's drying and flaky. It's the worst in spring, fall, and winter. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2017
I have blemish-prone skin with fair complexion, so my dark spots are more noticeable than those with darker skin tones. I must use a concealer. I lightly dab on the concealer with the dedicated brush and then blend out the edges to make it look seamless. A shade slightly darker than my natural skin tone works best and looks the most natural. I've been using this concealer for years as it matches my skin better than other brands. The product volume is quite small. It has a somewhat matte finish. Using the brush is necessary to achieve a more natural blemish coverage. Finding the right concealer shade that matches your skin tone is the most important first step! Apply it in a thin layer. Blend out the edges with your fingertips! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 26, 2017
After entering university, I purchased this product based on the recommendation of a store employee when I first started using makeup. It's been around 7 years since I started using it. I've tried different foundations, but I've never switched away from this one!!!! It has the strongest coverage and is the most convenient. Even though I have sensitive skin, I've never experienced any breakouts from this product. I only use it to cover blemishes, and it seems to be the most suitable product for that purpose. When I went to repurchase it recently, the store employee told me that it's going to be discontinued soon...Is that true? If so, what should I use now? Should I stock up on it? And about the matte finish? Haha. 1. Usage - Currently, I'm using the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation, the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Foundation (I can't remember the exact name), and the Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion. I switch between them depending on my skin condition, appointments, and locations. Regardless of which foundation I use, I always cover my blemishes with this product. I have dry skin and some acne scars. Since I usually use dewy foundations, I recommend first applying concealer like a pen to cover the blemishes, and then applying the foundation. If there are still uncovered areas, lightly dust a small amount of powder on those spots and then re-apply concealer. You can also use a brush to blend the edges. 2. Application Area - For my dry skin, I only use this product to cover blemishes (due to the matte finish). I use the Bobbi Brown Serum Corrector and Serum Concealer for my dark circles. 3. Color Selection - It's better to use a shade one tone darker than your foundation for better coverage. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 22, 2017
Barbie's case is stylish The case is made of metal, so it has a sleek look There are many color options to choose from I was surprised by the amount of coverage The cover works well Not a moisturizing formula, it's drying Dryness can lead to cracking Applying a lot causes crumbling It seems like a product that should only be dotted on The store staff recommended a color that was darker than my skin tone I said it didn't seem right, but they insisted it matched, which was frustrating The color also didn't quite fit, which was troublesome Try applying it generously for a more moisturizing experience I haven't tried that yet either - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 11, 2017
I've been using this product for 7 years. The coverage, application, and adhesion are really good, and the ingredients are also good.. I've tried other concealers because of the price, but I always end up coming back to this one. Especially since it doesn't have pore-clogging ingredients, so when I apply it to problem areas, they don't get worse and instead calm down naturally. It's a bit on the pricey side, and when you use it up, there's usually some product left in the stick that's hard to scrape out and use up completely, which is a bit of a waste. - bo****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 25, 2017
When choosing cosmetics, the most important factor for me is whether they cause skin irritation or breakouts. I used to use a stick concealer from the brand Dermalift*, but it was discontinued, which was really devastating... So I wandered around trying to find a concealer that suits me, and after searching a lot on Hwahae, I found this concealer with great reviews and good ingredients, so I bought it at the duty-free shop. After testing it out for a few days, I saw that my skin stayed calm, so I've been using it comfortably. I'm planning to repurchase it. I usually use shade 21, and I'm not a very fair-skinned person. But this shade 23 is brighter than 23, and the sand color suits me well. Something too bright and pinkish doesn't seem to work well for covering blemish marks. The yellow undertone in the sand color works fine for me. But I might try getting a shade darker for the outer parts of my face, like the jawline. Since it's a stick concealer, if my skin is too dry, it doesn't apply well and can look flaky. If I try to squeeze out a blemish, it can emphasize the flakiness. But this is the case with any concealer... I think it's not good to keep layering something on top of freshly surfaced or angry blemishes, so I only apply it on calmed down areas, dark spots, or scars. If I use a product that doesn't agree with my skin, it can actually cause new breakouts in the area I tried to cover, but I haven't experienced that with this one. Even if a product has zero harmful ingredients, there can still be something in it that doesn't suit my skin, and vice versa - there can be products with a few questionable ingredients that work fine for me. This product may not satisfy everyone, but it works great for me! Make sure to check the shade in person at the store.
