The cool scent and sensation made me feel like it cleansed well. I was also excited about it being a sensitive scalp shampoo, hoping it might soothe my scalp. For a sensitive scalp shampoo, the ingredients are surprisingly not great. Using this made my scalp even drier, itchier, and caused more dead skin cells to build up - it's a vicious cycle. I haven't found the perfect shampoo yet, but I don't think this is the one for me. If you must use this shampoo, try applying it first, then rinse. A friend recommended it, so I decided to give it a try. I must say, its cleansing effectiveness seems quite good. It feels like it's washing away everything, almost to the point where I wonder if it's too strong. Perhaps because of this, my hair feels noticeably drier afterwards. Unfortunately, it tends to make my hair tangle easily. It's a shame I bought the large bottle... Based on the ingredients, it contains salicylic acid which is supposed to be good for oil control and beneficial for oily scalps. However, out of all the shampoos I've used, this one seems to make my hair get greasy the fastest. By the afternoon, my scalp feels so itchy and irritated, it's as if blemishes are about to appear and my scalp feels swollen. I thought it was just me, but looking at the reviews now, I'm disappointed. I wish I had checked earlier and bought the smaller size. Still, considering the price, it's a shame to use it just like a supermarket shampoo for a quick wash. What a waste!
