The fresh scent and feel made it seem like the cleansing was effective. I was also looking forward to it since it's labeled as a sensitive scalp shampoo, which could help soothe my scalp. For a sensitive scalp shampoo, the ingredients are laughably bad. Using this made my scalp even drier, itchy, and with a lot of dandruff - a vicious cycle. I haven't found a good shampoo yet, but I don't think this is it. If you must use this shampoo, apply a scalp tonic (scalp moisturizer) and gently massage it into your scalp before rinsing and drying to prevent dryness. - sg******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2019
I purchased this product based on a recommendation from an acquaintance, and the cleansing power does seem quite good. It feels like it's washing away everything, almost to the point of being overly cleansing, and as a result, my hair ends up feeling quite dry. It also tends to get tangled easily... I bought the large size, but... While the ingredients include salicylic acid, which is good for controlling sebum and beneficial for oily scalps, this is the most quickly greasing shampoo I've used so far. By the afternoon, my scalp becomes so itchy and irritated, with pimples popping up. I thought it was just me, but now seeing the reviews, it's disappointing. I wish I had just bought the smaller size to try it out first. Still, at this price point, it's not a total waste to use it as a quick cleansing shampoo like a drugstore brand. - sk**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 29, 2018
This sensitive scalp and hair shampoo doesn't completely eliminate scalp odor, but it does help manage it to some degree. It's great for those with dry, brittle scalps. It doesn't completely eliminate scalp odor... Not recommended for those with oily scalps. It's recommended to thoroughly wet the scalp before using. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 28, 2017
The hair feels softer and the scalp feels more comfortable compared to when I used the Jiseong-yong shampoo. I don't feel at ease knowing the ingredients, and the price is a bit on the expensive side. The 1-liter large size is affordable. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 19, 2017
Due to frequent hair coloring and a sensitive scalp, I was sensitive to seasonal changes and shampoo changes, and severe dandruff and reddish spots(?) had appeared. But based on the recommendation of the hair salon, I used this product and the dandruff and spots have calmed down, new skin has grown on my flaky scalp, and my new hair has grown well. I'm very satisfied with the results. I'm going to repurchase it since, as someone who gets trouble every time I change shampoos, this product has been quite comfortable for me with no issues. The price is not cheap, but I think buying the large size will be a bit more affordable, so I'm going to purchase the large size this time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 20, 2017
The product has a mild and non-irritating feel, and it is soft. The fragrance is good. Since it is silicone-free, it seems like a good option. My scalp usually needs to be shampooed twice a day. Even after shampooing once a day, by the evening it has an oily, greasy smell. I bought the large size because it was said to be good for oily, sensitive skin... First of all, when looking at shampoos with good ingredients or those for oily skin, the lather doesn't seem to form well... I don't know why. Maybe it's because there are no surfactants or something. So I don't really feel like my hair is getting cleansed. I also have to use a lot of the shampoo. While others say their skin troubles have disappeared, my skin troubles have actually increased. At the dermatologist, they said for seborrheic dermatitis, I should use a shampoo that is not low-poo, but has good cleansing power and good ingredients. But I'm not sure about the cleansing power of this one. And somehow, after shampooing, my scalp feels sticky, but my hair feels limp and fluffy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 23, 2017
I had seborrheic scalp, but this shampoo helped a lot, so I bought it again. The price is a bit disappointing, but other than that, there's nothing I'm unsatisfied with. I bought it in-store because I was worried about buying fakes online. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2017
This is a product that I have been using consistently! The Banbital is designed for sensitive scalp, so it is very mild and has helped with my sensitivity! I do a lot of beauty work, so I dye my hair very often, but since using this shampoo, my sensitivity has gone away and my scalp no longer hurts. I highly recommend this for sensitive scalps~~ The price is 36,000 won for a 250ml bottle, so many customers may hesitate. However, if you buy the 1000ml refill and a pump, you can save around 50,000 won. As this is a scalp shampoo, it may leave damaged hair feeling a bit stiff. In that case, you should always do a treatment with a Therapiste mask or Chronology mask! You should use it every day for the best results! Since it is not a dandruff or oily scalp shampoo, you don't need to use it every other day. It's a sensitive scalp shampoo! This shampoo has also been recently renewed along with many other Kérastase products, and now it's silicone-free!! No need to worry, highly recommended! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 9, 2016
My scalp was quite sensitive. It seems the redness and irritation have subsided a bit. The price is quite expensive. And it seems the dandruff is still coming out a lot. It would be good to use it about 2 times a week. - sh********Dry SkinSensitive SkinOct 25, 2016
I don't know... This shampoo is really garbage for my life. I bought this shampoo based on the recommendation from the hair salon that it's good for dry scalp! When I first used it a few times, I felt like I was experiencing more hair loss than usual, so I went back to using my other shampoo and the hair loss was less. Oh no! Today, after washing my hair, I noticed that my scalp had turned reddish in spots, and there were white flakes that didn't look like normal dandruff (almost like symptoms of psoriasis). Ah... I spent 35,000 won on this shampoo... It seems this shampoo really doesn't work for me.
