Even those with oily skin can use this oil during the harsh winter months. It's the gentlest oil with the best ingredients. Once applied, it maintains moisture all day long, so your skin never feels dry. I loved that you can apply it to all dry areas and even use it as a body oil. When I gave it to my mother, who has dry skin, she said it was excellent. For deep hydration, oils are indeed ineffective. It's better to apply a separate emulsion for deep moisturizing. I used the Dokdo Emulsion. When applied to the face, it gives a yellowish tint and makes the skin look shiny, which wasn't visually appealing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2021
I think it provided great hydration. This is a product I used to apply a lot when my child was a baby. Being an oil, it's inevitably a bit slippery. Nevertheless, it's a product I've used well. - 95******Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedJan 26, 2021
As the weather gets drier, I noticed my eczema under my eyes was getting worse due to lack of hydration. I was contemplating making my own infused oil blend when I stumbled upon this gem. I've used jojoba oil alone before, but it felt somewhat lacking. I was craving something with additional ingredients, so when I saw this had calendula oil - exactly what I was looking for - I decided to give it a try before making my own. Plus, it's marketed as baby-friendly, so I figured it wouldn't irritate my sensitive under-eye area. If it continues to work well, I think I'll stick with it. I purchased it for around $15 through direct overseas shopping, and it's a generous 118ml in a glass bottle! I absolutely love it. The large size means I can use it liberally without worrying about running out anytime soon. The photo shows the product itself, along with the jar-type lip balm I'm using and a Daiso cream container (which I'm using to store Bepanthen). Being an oil, I rarely need to use a full pump except when applying to my body. I usually just touch the pump lightly to dispense a drop or two. When the bottle is upright, it's a bit sad to see the oil seeping around the edges of the container. However, this is a minor issue that can be managed with a little care. The glass bottle and large volume might make it slightly inconvenient for travel. But that's easily solved by transferring some to a smaller container if needed, so it's not really a significant problem. Be careful right after applying the oil as it can transfer onto other surfaces! Also, the oil has a yellowish tint, so it can stain. My personal usage tips: 1. Body - After showering, I mix it with body emulsion and apply all over. It seems to maintain hydration better, especially in this dry winter weather. 2. Hair - Before drying my hair post-wash, I apply a tiny bit to the ends as a hair oil substitute. I'm not sure about the effects yet, but it seems okay. 3. Skincare - As the final step, I dampen a cotton pad with toner or essence, add a pump of oil, and pat it onto my face. It's hard to control the amount when using the oil alone. I only apply oil in the evening, layering it generously all over my face as needed. It doesn't feel too heavy and absorbs just right. 4. Under-eye eczema - With winter, it became dry and itchy, and when I neglected care, it almost cracked. Very painful. Instead of eye cream, I use a non-steroid ointment (Bepanthen). In the evening, after applying the ointment, I finish with a gentle layer of this oil. It helps the hydration last longer. Occasionally it gets on my eyelashes or in my eyes, which can make vision a bit blurry, but it doesn't hurt or sting. 5. Lips - My lips are prone to dryness and cracking. After washing and before bed, I apply a thick layer of jar-type lip balm, then pat this oil on top as a sealant. It lasts longer and works great! - ja*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2019
Although it's a baby oil, I bought it for myself! I apply it right after showering while my skin is still damp. Pumping a moderate amount onto my body and face leaves my skin moisturized without feeling oily. When my skin is particularly dry, I mix it with cream - it absorbs well and makes my skin soft. I'm already on my third bottle! There's nothing I dislike about it. The only minor issue is that the glass bottle can be a bit slippery sometimes. Still, it's much better than using plastic, so I'll keep buying it. I apply it to my body while it's still damp after showering. If I apply it when my skin is dry, it feels a bit too slick, so I prefer to use it on damp skin! - su**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2019
I've been using this product since my firstborn was a newborn, now 6 years old. Being organic, it's gentle with no irritation or fragrance. Its consistency is just right, making it perfect for massaging delicate baby skin. The quantity is incredibly generous! While it didn't cause any blemishes, for best results, you need to thoroughly hydrate the skin first, then apply this like a protective layer. This way, it absorbs well and keeps the skin moisturized for longer. The glass container isn't very portable, so it's best to transfer some into a smaller bottle when on the go. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 13, 2019
It absorbs well without feeling sticky, and you get a generous amount for the price. I consistently use Badger products with my child because of their good ingredients. The scent is slightly odd, but I figure that's just because it's an oil. It dissipates quickly, so it doesn't bother me much. I apply it immediately after showering, before the skin's moisture evaporates. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 17, 2018
I apply this oil over cream after my baby's bath. While it doesn't seem to absorb instantly, I'm using it regularly because of its great ingredients. The scent is nearly undetectable, which might be divisive. I'd prefer if it had a pleasant fragrance. Layering it over cream seems to help it stay on better. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 1, 2018
I absolutely love that it's made entirely of natural oils without any chemical ingredients. The scent might be divisive, but I personally find it quite pleasant. It's definitely not a baby powder smell, but more reminiscent of nature's aroma. The glass bottle packaging is also a nice touch! When pumping with the bottle upright, it tends to leak down the sides. You'll get the hang of it with use, so it's not a major issue. The badger illustration wraps around the entire bottle, making it a bit tricky to see how much product is left. This isn't a huge problem either. I once used just the oil after running out of cream, and it caused rough, scab-like patches on my baby's skin. It also led to some skin irritation on the face. It seems slightly insufficient for use on its own. It applies well without leaving a white cast when used with natural emulsions and creams. I'm currently using it alongside a Kiehl's cream! - le********Oily SkinSensitive SkinJan 30, 2018
It's great for applying during the dry winter months. The ingredients are gentle, making it a safe and reliable product to use without worry. There's not much to complain about. While you need to be a bit careful with the glass container, it actually has its advantages too. I find that mixing it with shea butter enhances the hydration, which feels even better on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinDec 12, 2017
I loved how it absorbed nicely with a gentle rolling motion. It seems to absorb well into the skin. The glass bottle gets slippery when oil gets on it, and I almost dropped it. Also, I mainly use it in winter, but the quantity is quite large.
