The comfort of pure hydration absorption is something only this product can deliver.
ConsIt's not cheap by any means, nor is it easily accessible. Plus, it contains some potentially harmful ingredients.

I love how it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy and seems to have improved my skin texture.
ConsThe price... Luckily I received it as a gift, but it does seem quite expensive.

After applying essence and then this product, my skin felt hydrated without any excess oiliness.
ConsI occasionally get acne, and this product doesn't seem to have any specific blemish-fighting ingredients. However, it didn't make my breakouts worse either!

Absorbs well: True to its nature as a hydrating cream, it absorbs quickly upon application. It has a slight richness that leaves a subtle oily sheen on the face, but without feeling greasy, which I liked. Moisturizing effect: As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I've found that products with only hydration can cause surface dryness. I've tried various products, and among the hydrating creams I've used, this one has enough richness to prevent severe surface dryness. However, using it alone feels a bit light and slightly insufficient. Scent: Honestly, the best thing about Guinot products was the fragrance. Every time I applied it, I enjoyed the gentle, subtle, long-lasting scent that I hadn't experienced with other cosmetics. However, when I searched for Guinot on Hwahae and saw the red flag warning about the high content of fragrances, I was disappointed and decided to try other products, which is why I'm writing this review.
ConsHarmful ingredients: I expected a product as expensive as Guinot to be free of harmful ingredients. As an international brand, highly rated and sold at a premium in many skincare shops, I trusted it. Finding out it contains harmful ingredients was disappointing. I guess the price is inflated. This experience has made me realize the importance of knowing the exact ingredients I'm using. Price: Guinot belongs to the high-end range of cosmetic lines. A serum costs around $300, and a cream is usually about $100. Despite this, I had been using only Guinot products until now, although the price was quite burdensome. If I had known about the high content of harmful ingredients, I wouldn't have used it. From now on, I'll make better use of the Hwahae app.
TipAs someone who majored in skin science and worked in a skincare shop, I've always been interested in skincare. My skincare journey began in high school when acne concerns led me to start studying the subject. Through my studies, I learned that expensive cosmetics aren't always the best and that ingredients are crucial. Since then, I've experimented on my own skin in various ways. What I've realized is that everyone's skin is different, so it's essential to develop your own routine and maintain it consistently. Even the best product is useless if it doesn't suit you, so it's best to try different products and methods to find what works for you. Skin types can change with age and environment. While there are basic categories like normal, dry, oily, sensitive, and combination skin, there are many subtypes. It's crucial to use products that match your skin as it changes and as seasons shift. The most important aspect is cleansing! I believe that properly removing makeup is more important than using basic skincare products. Thorough cleansing with the right products opens up the pores, allowing better absorption of skincare products. That's why I focus more on cleansing than on applying makeup. My skin type is combination dehydrated, so I mainly use products with high moisture content. Since too much oil can make my skin feel greasy and prevent makeup from setting, I use hydrating creams that moisturize from within. In summer, I typically use just toner and hydrating cream for a light, fresh finish. From fall through winter and spring, I use toner, serum, and hydrating cream for extra moisture. I believe using too many basic skincare products after cleansing can clog pores, increase sebum production, and hinder the skin's natural regenerative abilities. Therefore, I think using excessive skincare products is wasteful. To all the Hwahae users who have many skin concerns and want to use the right products, I hope you'll try various products, read reviews, develop your own routine, and achieve the good skin you desire.

It's rich but not heavy, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling too oily.
ConsI was shocked when I looked at the ingredients. I was planning to buy it, but now I'm hesitant.

I got it after a treatment at Guinot Esthetic. I'm still using it well, but since I have very dry skin, I don't feel any richness. Still, it's quite hydrating!
ConsWhile it doesn't cause any blemishes, it's a pure hydration cream with absolutely no rich feel. I need to use it more to be sure, but being an esthetic cosmetic, the price is quite steep.
TipUsing this and then the 888 line helps balance the oil and moisture better.

It doesn't leave any oily residue and doesn't cause breakouts. The texture is smooth, and it absorbs well into the skin.
ConsNothing particularly bad... except for the high price tag. It used to be hard to find since it's an esthetic product, but that's probably not even an issue these days.

It applies smoothly without pilling, and its low oil content makes it great for sensitive skin prone to blemishes.
ConsThe price is a bit steep, which is disappointing. It absorbs so quickly that it's barely noticeable right after application, which is a bit of a letdown.
TipApplying a water-based oil before this moisturizer really helps lock in the hydration.
