- It had a genuine coconut fragrance - I tried it after receiving a recommendation due to my fine hair and excessive hair loss, and I noticed some improvement after using it - The coconut clumps left after use were quite off-putting... It was also difficult to rinse out Since it's a scoop-out formula, it can be inconvenient to use with your hands. I've been using a Baskin-Robbins spoon to scoop it out, which I find super convenient! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2020
Surprisingly effective for a Lush shampoo! I was impressed by its cleansing effectiveness and how well it lathers. The scent is lovely, and the ingredients seem pretty good too. Plus, it's so hydrating! It doesn't seem to cause any irritation, so I'm using it diligently! The pot packaging makes it a bit inconvenient to use, and the price is wickedly high. However, these drawbacks are tolerable considering its quality. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2019
The coconut fragrance is absolutely delightful, and what's even better is that it contains coconut particles, which seem to provide a thorough cleansing effect. Since it's a product in a tub, you need to be careful not to let water get in. Also, if you don't use exactly the right amount, it won't lather up at all. I wouldn't recommend it as your regular shampoo. Scoop out about two fingertips' worth with two fingers. Don't mix it with water at all - apply it directly to your hair and then massage it in! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2019
The nourishment is incredibly rich... I think this would be much more hydrating than Blau:Z. It's great for scalp exfoliation thanks to the salt content. It's extremely greasy... While my skin tends to be dry, my scalp is slightly on the oily side. By late spring or early fall, my hair starts to get a bit oily in the evenings. Usually in winter, it's less oily comparatively, but with this, even after washing, it feels like coconut oil is just seeping into my scalp. It's as if I haven't washed my hair at all... This seems to work well for older individuals. My mother, who complains about her hair becoming increasingly brittle, tends to prefer these types of shampoos. - sw****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 12, 2018
First off, the scent is absolutely amazing... True to Lush's style, the fragrance lingers for an incredibly long time. I could still smell it the next day, haha! Also, I loved how it lathered up - not too thick, but nice and smooth. Those coconut bits? You really need to rinse thoroughly. I have permed hair, and after shampooing and towel-drying, I noticed coconut particles stuck in my hair... Since they don't dissolve, you'll need to rinse multiple times very carefully. - ro******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 22, 2018
I have a dry scalp and hair (it doesn't get greasy even if I don't wash it). As you can see on the Lush Korea website, I feel like I've won a bunch of coconuts! While those who dislike coconut scents might not be fans, I personally loved the fragrance. The biggest advantage? The pleasant scent makes me consider purchasing it again. I also appreciated that my hair didn't feel stiff after shampooing. The main drawback is probably the price. Also, while a pump dispenser would be more convenient, it's a bit inconvenient to scoop out the paste-like formula with your hands and open/close the lid. The coconut chunks tend to fall off easily. It's such a waste, so I ended up picking them up and reapplying them to my hair. On a side note, after rinsing, the coconut bits accumulate in the drain... haha! Make sure to thoroughly wet your hair, really thoroughly, then apply a generous amount of product to your hair, massage it in, and add a bit more water - you'll get an incredibly rich lather! The fragrance is wonderful~ - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 26, 2017
The scent is lovely! It has an amazing coconut-pineapple fragrance. What's really fascinating is that it actually enhances my perm, making my curls even bouncier. The price is a bit of an issue. When ordering from overseas, the shipping takes quite a while and the fees are quite high. However, even with that, you can get a small jar for about 10,000 won. Plus, you get the black pot, which is a nice bonus. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 8, 2016
The fragrance is absolutely delightful. True to its name 'Curly Wurly', it gives your hair a natural and bouncy curl definition. It contains coconut bits, which can be tricky. If not rinsed out properly, they might look like dead skin cells. The catch is, I believe it's not sold in Korea. I remember feeling flustered when I mentioned it at a local store and was met with confused looks. As much as you might want to use it sparingly, that's not advisable. If left for too long, the color changes.
