This is the perfect mask to use when the weather starts heating up, your skin feels hot, and your pores open up due to sweat! As the name suggests, it's a 'charcoal mud' mask, so it has a black color. When you apply it, it feels incredibly cool and refreshing! Plus, the price for the amount you get is absolutely fantastic! It tends to solidify easily... So you need to warm it up with some hot water to soften the contents before use. Other than that, there's absolutely nothing to complain about! I love using face masks, and I was so impressed with the white mud mask I used before from this brand - I think it was a brightening mud mask. I went to buy it again but found out it was discontinued, so I got this one instead. I'm really satisfied with it too! My skin is on the sensitive side, so I only use it once a week, but when I do, my skin feels genuinely soft and looks great. I tend to have some sebum on my nose, and this mask helps reduce that bumpy texture a bit, which I appreciate. I'm definitely planning to repurchase. I'm extremely satisfied with this product. To be honest, I don't have any real complaints. If I had to nitpick, I guess it would be that the original white mask I used has been discontinued? Just so you know, this mask is black in color. You need to be careful not to get it on your clothes when you're rinsing it off after it dries. I wish I didn't have to learn that the hard way... It's affordable and gentle on the skin. The texture is so soft, making it really comfortable to apply. It's smooth enough to spread easily with just your fingers. As for effectiveness, it helps tidy up dead skin cells. Highly recommended for extremely oily skin! It dries quickly, so don't leave it on for too long. I suggest washing it off as soon as it dries. After use, it brings out excess sebum, making it great for extractions. It leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh, which is fantastic. Plus, the tube packaging makes it super convenient to use. You need to shake it well before use initially. Otherwise, the water separates and drips out. It's just okay? When you apply this mask, you can feel it tightening on your skin. For this to be effective, you need to somehow clear out your pores before using it. If your pores are clogged with sebum, even if it tightens, well... not much help there.

The instructions say to leave it on for about 10 minutes, but I removed it when I felt a slight tightening sensation. Using it right after dissolving blackheads with an oil cleanser was fantastic - my pores seemed visibly smaller! Those with dry skin might experience a more intense tightening effect. If you have super sensitive skin, I'd recommend carefully considering whether this product is suitable for you. When rinsing off, use gentle motions with water to minimize irritation. Great value mud mask! At just over 5,000 won, you can use it frequently without breaking the bank. I love applying it after opening my pores with a steam towel - when I wash it off, my skin feels so smooth. The tube packaging is convenient, and while it takes a bit of effort to squeeze out, it's totally manageable. I wish this great product came in a larger size. It's a shame that some platforms don't seem to carry it, which is disappointing. My skin texture feels smoother, and it seems to help balance oil production. I'll need to use it more consistently to see any effects on pores, but so far I haven't noticed much improvement.
