I use it on the areas around my face where I used to have a lot of acne, and now just have scars. With consistent use, the scars seem to have faded a bit!
Cons-It has a strange, unpleasant smell -I used it daily, but it actually had the opposite effect and my skin got a bit irritated. I think it's best to use it in moderation! -I use it in the last step of my skincare routine, but it barely gets absorbed... ? It spreads easily, so you have to be careful.

A few years ago, I tried the Trilogy oil and since there were no particular skin issues with the rosehip oil, I decided to use this more cost-effective product. I apply it to the ends of my hair when the hair essence runs out, and I also mix it with a slightly thicker body lotion and use it that way. It seems to be quite versatile.
ConsThe reason I give it two stars is that the scent is quite heavy and oily. I'm not sure if it really improves my skin in any way. In fact, it makes my face look overly shiny, so I'm afraid it might clog my pores, so I don't use it on my face.

Last year, I had breakouts almost every day for nearly half a year, and they wouldn't go away, so I kept changing my skincare routine until I settled on this one. This oil is part of my daily routine now. (I'll share the rest of my routine in the tips!) I mix 3-4 drops of the oil into the cream and apply it all over my face, and in the dry winter, I finish with a pump of the Nuxe oil. It's been about 4 months since I started using it, and I feel like my skin's elasticity and plumpness have improved a lot! My skin used to have a sagging texture, which really stressed me out, but I don't feel that anymore. I used to wonder what the big deal was about rosehip oil, but now I know - this is something I'll be using forever.
ConsThe smell! The smell is just too strong. At first, I wasn't sure if I could even put this on my face, and then I realized it smells like the oil paint I used in college...ugh, the smell is just awful. But I keep using it because I get anxious if I don't.
TipI use the witch hazel cleansing water, then 3 skin toners, followed by the Dr.G snail cream with 3-4 drops of rosehip oil mixed in. In the winter, I finish with a pump of Nuxe oil, rubbing it into my skin. Once a week in the evenings, I replace the rosehip oil with a pea-sized amount of retinol cream mixed into the Dr.G snail cream. I've never had any issues with tightness in my skin using this routine, even in the winter!

My skin also seems to glow more.
ConsIt has a slightly unpleasant smell and since it's an oil, just opening the dropper causes it to drip down, which is inconvenient. It also seems to have a short usage period.
TipI add two to three drops of the essence and mix it in before applying.

It contains retinol, which is effective for the skin (It's the retinol that's always mentioned in the dermatologist sister's posts on Glowpick. Start using it as soon as possible) I want to try the Stiva A ointment, but it's a bit scary... side effects... Ugh... It's good when you don't want to get a prescription (If you expect the same effect as a drug, it won't work as well since it's not a medication) - Smooth and moisturizing, but not greasy and absorbs quickly. Yes, yes! It lives up to the name 'dry oil' - Very affordable price, around 6,000 won. Not iHerb, but I Love It (Other domestic products are too expensive for continuous use) - Tons of testimonials about brighter skin tone after use - Good to mix in with your current moisturizer if it feels a bit lacking - Seems great for the 'skincare diet' that editor Pihyeon Jeong recommends (just mixing water-based essences/toners + oils) - The ingredients are so gentle
Cons- Goes rancid quickly. Be sure to check the expiration date (That's why many people store it in the fridge) - The dropper is completely useless... It just drips out even without pressing - The scent may be irritating to some - It leaves a sticky residue when applied (Of course it would leave residue if you apply a lot, but this one is more noticeable) - Watch out for the small volume. But if it's bigger, you may not finish it in time - As a vitamin A product, sun protection is a must
TipIf you're buying it to mix with foundation, no. Add it appropriately to your skincare routine. - Put a dropper's worth in a good toner and use it for your 7-skin method (mix before use, don't put too much oil or it'll be too thick) - You can also soak a cotton pad with the 7-skin solution and use it as a pack - The 7-skin solution is recommended for indoor use. It's not suitable for sun exposure

It forms a moisturizing film without being greasy. 2. My skin tone has become brighter and I don't get any pimples. 3. Affordable price! Only 5,000 won on iHerb! It's much better than creams and oils that cost tens of thousands of won. It's affordable and easy to find, so I highly recommend trying it out!
Cons1. The smell... it smells like cannabis. It evokes the aroma of the red-light district in Amsterdam. 2. If applied excessively, it can cause flaking the next day. It also causes redness. ㅠㅠ Be sure to use the right amount. 3. The dropper doesn't work properly. Moreover, the bottle has a wide opening, so I'm worried it might go rancid easily.
Tip-Mix a few drops with the Physiogel lotion and apply it. It works great. -Apply a drop directly to any areas that look like they're about to break out, and it will disappear the next day. -Apply it generously to any cracks or minor scratches, and they will recover miraculously fast the next day.

The price was very affordable.
ConsThe smell is really awful... It has a similar feeling to concentrated sesame oil. I couldn't bear it every time I used it, so I just threw it away. Why is it so popular, really? The smell is still lingering and I feel like I'm going to vomit.

I'm writing a review like someone who goes around selling this product...haha I have combination skin with acne and sensitivity, and this product really checks all the boxes. To be honest, I read reviews on iHerb, the Hwahae app, and English reviews, and after much deliberation, I purchased this product - and I'm so happy with it that I'm even considering repurchasing. At this price point, it feels like I'm getting the product for free haha The oil is very lightweight and doesn't leave any residue - it's just perfect. After applying and going to sleep, my face looks noticeably better.
ConsEveryone says the smell is bad, but I had already mentally prepared myself, thinking 'how bad could it be?' since the ingredients are good. I thought I'd just have to get over the scent. But it actually wasn't that bad - it was more like a grassy or fishy smell, not a terrible stench. And after using it for a while, I don't even notice the smell anymore - in fact, it's kind of endearing now haha Since the usage experience is so good, my sensitive nose has managed to survive just fine. I normally hate artificial fragrance and have a very sensitive nose, but I use this without any issues.
TipI've heard that rosehip seed oil can make your face feel a bit burned when applied in the morning, so I always make sure to apply sunscreen generously when using it in the AM. In the evenings, after cleansing, I just spritz on a mist and skip the lotion/cream, just applying this oil. It completely solves the dryness issue, and it's such a simple, lightweight routine. My skin is so sensitive, so I'm usually hesitant to commit to a product, but I think this rosehip oil is going to be a permanent part of my skincare regimen.

It seems to be working after using it for a month or two. When I had my skin condition tested at Aritaum, the elasticity was perfect. It's also relatively inexpensive, so I'm going to try to use it consistently. I've been using it for about 3 months now and there's still a lot left. Since it's an oil, you only need to use a small amount, so that's probably why.
ConsThe downside of rosehip oil is definitely the smell ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I'm not very sensitive to smells, so I felt it was like a clay? smell, but for those sensitive to smells, they really dislike it. I was able to tolerate it, but when you apply it, you get this feeling of your nostrils expanding ㅋㅋㅋ
