I happened to use this since I had it at home, and the scent is absolutely delightful. It has a cool yet sweet fragrance reminiscent of air cotton (Ocean Blue scent). While it does have some effect, I've found that for truly nourishing hair care, applying hair oil works better than using a spray-on product. - jj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2019
When I saw this special deal pop up, I was intrigued by the 1+1 offer and the surprisingly low price. I initially planned to just skim the ingredients out of curiosity, but I couldn't help noticing it had an impressive protein-packed formula that rivals most high-end treatments. Reviews also raved about the fragrance. As someone who regularly bleaches my hair every three months, I typically opt for simple, mildly acidic shampoos and treatments. This means I'm used to hair products with subtle scents that fade to almost nothing after drying. Sometimes I miss that delightful shampoo smell from childhood - you know, the one that wafts up when you undo your ponytail? So I figured even if the treatment effect wasn't great, I could always use it as a hair mist. I bought it right away. After about two months of use, I'm impressed. Despite years of severe damage from bleaching, and this being a leave-in treatment, it's made a noticeable difference. After towel-drying, I spritz it mainly on the ends, and even while blow-drying, I can feel the change in texture. I have a bob, so root volume is crucial. When I'm concerned about overspray at the roots, I just squeeze some into my palm and apply it to the ends like a lotion. On busy days or in humid weather when I skip my usual treatment, a quick spray before drying leaves my hair delightfully soft. As for the scent, I chose Ocean Blue. It's not cheap or overpowering - more like a subtle, cool fragrance that lingers pleasantly. It's reminiscent of a light perfume but not too intense, and it lasts longer than I expected. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I'm so grateful to the site that offered this deal, I could bow to them! When it's on sale again, I'm definitely stocking up. You can use it as a leave-in treatment, or as a special care product in place of a protein treatment. I've been doing this and it works great. - ru********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2019
Most spray products tend to make your hair stiff when you apply them generously, but this one doesn't do that at all, even with heavy application. I deliberately sprayed it liberally after blow-drying, and then again once it dried, and there was absolutely no stiffness! My hair usually gets a bit frizzy after drying, but this seems to make it noticeably smoother. Plus, it's affordable with great ingredients! I've stocked up and use it regularly. The scent is a bit off-putting. I bought it for summer use because it was described as refreshing, but it's not as nice as I expected. It's just an average fragrance. Even with generous application, I didn't see remarkable results, though it's still better than using nothing. The spray nozzle is also disappointing. I'm not expecting a fine mist, but it comes out too concentrated in one spot, almost like it's spitting the product out. I'm using it by spraying generously before blow-drying, then again after drying, and once more after using a flat iron. I love that it doesn't make my hair stiff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2019
First off, the scent is lovely - it's refreshingly citrusy. I've been using it diligently, though I'm not entirely sure about its effectiveness. However, unlike other cream-based leave-in protein treatments that can leave hair feeling stiff and build up over time, this one doesn't harden or weigh down my hair. Sigh. It's hard to tell when I'll start seeing results. I've been using this along with another oil treatment, but... After towel-drying, I apply it generously to the ends of my hair and wrap it up. Once it's slightly dry, I follow up with some oil for extra nourishment. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 2, 2019
The scent is so lovely that I'm drawn to use it just for the fragrance! It's a solid choice overall. Unfortunately, I didn't really notice any improvement in my hair... - dj********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 1, 2019
As a frequent user of hair dye and bleach, my hair usually becomes stiff after shampooing, leaving it feeling like a broom without conditioner or essence. However, since using this spray-on treatment, I can skip the conditioner. Just a few spritzes after shampooing, and I can easily run my fingers through my hair. The ingredients are good, and above all, it's incredibly cost-effective. I've stocked up on plenty! Initially, I was so captivated by the Ocean Blue scent that I didn't even consider the other fragrances. However, by my third purchase, I noticed the scent seemed to have changed slightly. It's still not bad though. Conditioners often contain silicone (dimethicone) without many nutrients. They simply make your hair appear smoother. When using essence or spray-on treatments, I skip the conditioner and let the product absorb directly into my hair. - ma********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2018
It's so convenient to use - just spray and go! You can use it daily without feeling greasy or weighed down. Unlike other highly-rated treatments that lose effectiveness after a few weeks, this one keeps improving my hair texture even after a month of daily use. My hair feels so good now that I can skip conditioner altogether. I'll definitely keep using this! It might be better without fragrance. I wish they'd focus more on quality ingredients rather than scent. From my experience, using this treatment after a silicone-free shampoo seems to yield even better results. - ap*************Combination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 19, 2018
It's not sticky and absorbs well. The scent is suitable for men too. It's easy to spray and has a mild calming effect on hair (don't expect too much though). As it's a mist, not an oil mist, it doesn't have a significant effect. It's more of a supplementary product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsNov 19, 2017
I purchased the Raip Hair Essence (Oil Type) and received this item as a free gift after leaving a comment on Tmon. The volume is large and the ingredients are satisfactory. And the price is also affordable.. haha The most disappointing point was that I couldn't feel the hair conditioning effect. Whether I sprayed it or not, I couldn't feel a difference in my hair. Even if the price is cheap, if there is no effect, bye bye. And the scent.. First of all, it's not my preference. I'm originally allergic to certain ingredients, and when I spray this, I start sneezing. I think the fragrance-labeled ingredients must have contained allergy-inducing components. - mi******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 7, 2017
I bought a hair essence without silicone ingredients, and while I didn't have high expectations since it's a liquid type and silicone-free, it surprisingly made my hair feel soft and calm. It seems to contain many good ingredients for hair, and it's not sticky or oily, which I really like. The scent is a bit strong, and it hurts my head a little right after application. Personally, I would prefer a more subtle fragrance. It's a spray type, but when I just spray it, it gets on my skin or flies around too much. So I transfer it to a pump bottle and dispense it onto my palm before applying, which prevents it from getting on my face or dripping on the floor, making it much easier to use.
