I thought Batiste was the most famous and most common dry shampoo, so I just used it. The white powder is really like a bomb, but there's no helping it. However, the greasiness and the smell on the crown are immediately taken care of, and it lasts all day, so the staying power is good.

You have to brush out the white powder from every nook and cranny. I found a product that had a bit less powder, so I switched to that one, which I liked better.
