It's moisturizing and has great color payoff. I love how it keeps my lips hydrated and doesn't dry them out. The moisture lasts for a long time, which is fantastic. Because it's so moisturizing, it tends to transfer a lot and doesn't last very long.

I found that gently patting it on and applying a thin layer works well. As a light summer cool tone, I couldn't do a full application... The color is so vibrant that it overpowers my complexion. The color payoff is to die for! However, it's not as vivid a pink as shown in the photo. It's more of a slightly brighter pink shade. I can't think of any particular downsides. It does stain a bit, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

And personally, I think this packaging is even prettier than the bullet case. Because it's moisturizing, the staying power isn't great. After all, it's a lipstick, not a tint, so it comes off when you eat or drink. It's the one in the middle of the second photo! I can't remember the top one, but from the second one down, they are Chanel Rouge Allure Fougueuse, Insane Lit, Speak Louder, and VDL Lip Cube Miss Light. For reference! It's hard to see in the photo, but there's a subtle blue-pink pearl shimmer. However, it's not noticeable when applied.
