It's moisturizing without causing irritation. There's a subtle fragrance. The texture is a balm-type formula. There's nothing to be disappointed about. I highly recommend this to Hwahae users. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2019
It's great for soothing that post-shave sting. The way it absorbs into the skin is just right, so I've been sticking with this one exclusively. The downside is that it doesn't seem to be widely available, probably due to its lack of popularity. After shaving, apply thoroughly to the entire shaved area. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2019
It feels refreshingly cool when applied and leaves a crisp sensation on the skin The hydration seems to dissipate rather quickly, leaving behind a somewhat rich, oily feeling - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2019
This product effectively calms skin irritation after shaving The price is a bit disappointing. It's a shame about the cost. The price point leaves something to be desired. The expense is the only drawback - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2019
Absorbs beautifully, with a light emulsion texture that provides excellent hydration May cause dryness and flaking of dead skin cells on sensitive skin Be careful not to let the product come into contact with delicate mucous membranes. If it accidentally gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with running water to avoid any risk - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2019
The application feels great, just like a regular emulsion you can dispense into your hand. After wet shaving, it's excellent for disinfecting and soothing the skin. It provides great hydration and has a pleasant scent (I have dry, sensitive skin). The generous volume means it'll last a long time. The hydration might be too rich for summer use, making it feel sticky. Not recommended for oily skin types. I'd suggest using it in fall and winter. While the product is gentle enough to apply all over your face, remember it's an aftershave. It's best to focus application on the shaved areas only. - sh***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2018
This is my favorite product from Lab Series. My skin is super sensitive, and I often get redness and irritation from both manual and electric razors. However, this product really helps soothe my skin after shaving. Personally, I don't have any complaints about this product. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the runny texture makes me wish it came with a pump dispenser instead. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 4, 2018
I tried a shaving-specific emulsion for the first time, and it seems to have a soothing effect. While it appears to offer more hydration and calming benefits than regular emulsions after shaving, I'm not sure about any dramatic effects. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 24, 2017
A decent product with a viscous texture rather than a slippery, watery feel. As a wet shaving veteran of 15 years, I've developed coarse hair and struggle with getting a clean shave, often going over the same area multiple times. This has left me with blemishes, cuts, and constant irritation in my shaving areas. After-shave is crucial, but out of laziness, I've been using alcohol-based toners as a substitute, which only worsened my skin issues. I finally bought this product, and it's definitely excellent at soothing damaged areas and making my skin feel comfortable. The redness has disappeared without me even noticing. However, it does leave a slightly tight feeling as time passes... haha. A 3-in-1 cream-type after-shave?! I think there are separate products like this, but personally, I prefer this one. It's great that you can spread a small amount widely, and its unscented, utterly unremarkable nature is actually its charm. Personally, I prefer the completely liquid, alcohol-heavy, super-stinging after-shave products that dads use, haha. There's something about that slight burning sensation that makes it feel like it's disinfecting, you know? But that's just my personal preference (probably not great for the skin though... lol). I also think it might have been nice if it had a subtle fragrance. It's a product that leaves me 2% unsatisfied, so I probably won't repurchase... Just look at that price, whew! To be honest, I can't really feel much difference between this and the after-shaves you'd find from brands like Nivea at your local supermarket. - te********Combination SkinAtopic SkinSep 27, 2017
It has almost no scent and helps soothe any tingling after shaving. There's also minimal stickiness. Admittedly, the price is on the higher end. That's unavoidable, I suppose.
