The downside is that it's only available at dermatology clinics or online. Another drawback is its high price point. However, it's worth the investment. This is a cleansing water prescribed by my dermatologist. At the time, I went to the clinic due to combination dehydrated skin with super sensitive skin, blemishes erupting, and redness. They suggested that when skin is sensitive, it's better to avoid cleansing oils and use water-based cleansers instead. I used to only use cleansing oils that removed everything, but I think those oils didn't wash off well with mild acidic foams, causing my blemishes to erupt! After using this product, my skin has calmed down significantly and there's much less irritation. I don't typically wear heavy makeup, just eyeliner, foundation, and lip color, so I'm satisfied with its cleansing effectiveness. (My foundation is thin and semi-matte) Due to the slight burning sensation and the less-than-ideal ingredients, I've switched to Bioderma with the pink cap. I can feel that it's less irritating. It cleanses well and doesn't cause any blemishes for sensitive or oily skin types. That's a big plus! I might have expected too much from a cleansing water, but it doesn't have any effect on removing blackheads.

I got this from the dermatologist when I was struggling with blackheads and blemishes, and it worked well! I also liked that it could remove makeup from both face and eyes. Since it's a water-based formula, you might go through it quickly... But that's not really a drawback, is it? To be honest, I can't think of any real cons for this product! It works even better when applied with a cotton pad! I recommend investing in good quality cotton pads while you're at it!

Though it doesn't look like it would lather well, it actually produces more foam than expected. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit lacking when removing heavy makeup. It feels like something is left behind. It doesn't foam up well when mixed with oil-based products. I used this product on recommendation from my dermatologist during acne treatment. It removes makeup effectively and doesn't seem to dry out my skin much after use. I didn't experience any blemishes or breakouts either! While using this product, I felt a slight irritation. I switched from Avène Cleanance Micellar Water to this Aderma product based on my dermatologist's recommendation. Although Avène was fine for me, this product made my skin feel a bit heated. I bought this at the dermatologist's office after they recommended it for my super sensitive skin. However, I haven't noticed any remarkable improvements yet. I have facial redness, and when I apply this and gently massage it in, my face starts to tingle uncomfortably, forcing me to wash it off quickly. I loved how it removed all the oiliness! It gives such a refreshing feeling when used in the morning. It feels like it doesn't cleanse thoroughly? That's the only downside. Oh, and the price is a bit steep.
