I use it like a cleansing emulsion. I apply it to my face when it's almost dry, then gradually add water to create a lather. After rinsing, I finish with a foam cleanser.

The only downside is that it can cause a tingling sensation if it gets in your eyes. The scent is quite strong at first, but you get used to it over time.

I've been using this for over 5 years. It has excellent cleansing effectiveness while being gentle on the skin. The scent is strong, but when you rinse it off with water, it feels incredibly soft.

Just keep in mind that it's not a dedicated makeup remover, so you'll need to do a first cleanse separately if you're wearing makeup. I use a cleansing water or gel for that step.

But since using this, my skin has been consistently calm. After cleansing, there's no deep dryness, just hydration. The scent is a bit subtle, reminiscent of ground rice germ (if that makes sense). I have a particularly sensitive nose, but this fragrance is at a tolerable level. It contains peony extract, which is great.

It smells like dirty mop water. It's shocking that a cosmetic product could have such an odor. I'm not usually sensitive to smells, but this makes me miserable every time I wash my face.
