It looks beautiful when applied on bare skin or with smoky makeup. Both the color payoff and staying power are excellent. It can feel a bit drying, so I occasionally use it together with a lip balm. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2021
This color is perfect for light summer cool tones. It's ideal for wearing during spring flower viewing outings. Wearing only MAC Saint-Germain might give a slightly washed-out look. For a more natural appearance, try creating a gradient effect by applying a magenta lipstick to the inner part of your lips. - st****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 25, 2020
This lipstick is a total game-changer! It's an instant eye-catcher and definitely boosts your cool factor. Everyone, and I mean everyone, asks about it. They can't stop complimenting how pretty it looks! Usually, I rock cool tones and steer clear of oranges or warm colors, but this one surprisingly works for me. They call it 'strawberry milk' shade, and while it could look a bit off if applied carelessly, when done right, it's absolutely stunning. I'm not sure if it's just me, but when I apply this, it seems to turn the edges of my lips a reddish-pink. Also, it's quite matte for my taste. - ch*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2020
A beautiful and enigmatic pink lip color that suits summer cool tones perfectly. I thought it wouldn't suit me, but when I applied it, it made my face look radiant. The unique strawberry milk + light purple shade is an uncommon and attractive color that I really like. (Note: It may not suit those who prefer warm-toned makeup!) Both the color payoff and staying power are great. For a full lip application, it might look a bit floaty, so I recommend applying it thinly and blending for a gradient effect. Exfoliating is a must! Before bed, apply a generous amount of moisturizing lip balm. The next morning, thoroughly remove any dead skin cells from your lips before applying your lip makeup! - sk******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 5, 2019
Such a pretty strawberry milk color! It's a shade I've never seen before! I don't understand why this beautiful strawberry milk color turns purple when I apply it. I burst out laughing after putting it on - it's literally a light purple color! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinAug 16, 2017
The application? Well... I think it would suit cool-toned skin nicely. And there's that trust in MAC, you know? Haha! Maybe it's because I have warm-toned skin, but this really, really doesn't suit me at all. You know that character from that show - was it Hongdugge? The one with big lips? I look just like her with this on! Seriously, when I wear this, my face turns sickly pale and I look terribly ill. I absolutely can't go out wearing just this lipstick! It's that bad! I received this as a gift, so I tried mixing it with other colors to make it work, but I just can't wear this on its own. I definitely wouldn't spend my own money on this. For me, it's just... powerfully unflattering! Haha! To top it off, even the ingredients... well, I don't want to apply it to my skin. I'll post a swatch below. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 27, 2017
The true color is so pretty it makes you want to buy it instantly. It's literally a beautiful strawberry milk shade. I've never seen anyone in my life who this color suits, lol. Who on earth is supposed to look good in this? No matter if you're pale or dark-skinned, this makes everyone look like they have jaundice, haha! - jw******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSep 2, 2016
When my boyfriend said this color would suit me, I was shocked! I thought it would make me look pale because of its whitish undertone. But when I actually tried it on, the color applied beautifully. I'm impressed! I had never dared to try shades like this before, thinking they wouldn't suit me. It was surprising to see how it created such a unique vibe. Now I'm not even sure if I'm warm-toned or cool-toned anymore! It gives off a sophisticated, urban woman feel. When worn with darker outfits, it makes your lip color really stand out beautifully. The staying power is great too! Since it's matte, exfoliating is a must before application. If it doesn't match your skin tone, it could make you look extremely pale, so be sure to test it first. If you have Vaseline, you can wear MAC lipsticks even on lips with a lot of dead skin cells! Whenever you have a moment at home, keep applying Vaseline. Apply it thicker before bed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 10, 2016
If you're after that strawberry milk shade, Saint Germain is your go-to! While it might highlight dead skin cells a bit, the color payoff is absolutely top-notch. A lip balm is a must before applying this lipstick. It tends to accentuate dead skin cells on your lips. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 6, 2016
Honestly... I've never seen anyone who looks good wearing this lipstick. Whether it's my mom with shade 23, my friend with 21, or me with 13 - cool tone or warm tone, we all ended up looking like clay figures. There might be rare exceptions, but I haven't met anyone. I'm using it as a blush now, and I guess the seemingly endless amount could be considered a plus point. 1. It turns you into a clay figure 2. It severely emphasizes dead skin cells 3. It applies with a heavy, cakey feeling
