I purchased the Thermal Cleansing Balm and the set, and while I don't use it daily, I use it at least once a week. It's a mud pack, but the particle size is smaller than the Cleansing Balm and has a gel-like cream texture. The application is also smooth. The scent is not that of mud, but rather the same as the Bioelements Pumice Peel (scrub), which was surprising. The formula doesn't dry out the skin too much, so it's convenient to rinse off.
