ConsThe price is a bit steep... It's pretty standard, not much different from regular eyebrow products

It's cost-effective since you only need to buy refills, especially considering the amount wasted when sharpening. It's simply a classic for a reason. The formula is firm, applies with a soft color payoff, and builds up gradually, allowing even beginners to control the intensity. You can draw thin lines easily without needing to sharpen it to a fine point. The staying power is great as long as you don't rub it. I've tried other products out of boredom, but I always come back to this one.
ConsThe only downside is that it's a Japanese product...
TipWhen I want to create more precise lines, I pair it with Benefit's Precisely. Shade 3 is similar to the taupe color.

It's quite popular. However, I'm not confident in sharpening regular hard formula brow pencils. That's why I, being easily swayed, decided to buy this. Pigmentation: Perfect for a natural look! The subtle color allows for effortless application without being overwhelming. Longevity: While my brows tend to stay put, even after being out for a long time, I didn't feel like my brows had significantly faded! It gives you that 'still there' feeling. Application: Glides on smoothly. However, it applies best over makeup or on skin with some oil. Design: The auto-twist mechanism is a major plus! It's actually the main reason I bought it. I'm also a fan of spoolie brushes, and having one attached is great. I like to brush through my brows first, which gives a more polished look! If you've applied too much, you can use the brush to blend it out for a more even finish. Blemishes: I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, but this brow product hasn't caused any breakouts. Recommended for: Those who find sharpening regular hard formula pencils difficult or bothersome! This auto pencil is super smooth and convenient.
ConsPrice: It's a bit expensive for the amount you get. The price might be a burden for students..! Portability: When I pack my basic makeup pouch for light travel, eyebrow products are a must. However, this is slightly large and heavy for my light pouch. It's not extremely heavy, but compared to drugstore products I've used before, it is noticeable. Not recommended for: Those who don't wear much makeup! This type applies best over makeup, so it doesn't go on well on bare skin. (Of course, you could apply it more firmly, but there's no need to irritate your skin like that, right?)
TipI don't wear much makeup these days, so I'm very satisfied with just neatly applying this to my eyebrows for a light makeup look. I usually brush along the grain with the spoolie brush, then fill in with the brow pencil, and finish by tidying up with the spoolie again. It creates a very clean look! Be careful when choosing your shade! The auto hard formula comes in various colors, so I recommend picking one that suits you best!

It's easy to apply, has great color payoff, and impressive staying power. Unlike drugstore options, it matched my hair color perfectly and created a natural-looking brow. I've been loyal to this product for years.
ConsFirst off, it's quite pricey, and it feels like you go through it quickly. I think this might be because the tip isn't super sharp and covers a larger area. Also, being a Japanese product made me switch to alternatives. If not for these issues, I probably would have stuck with it.

Even though I have black hair, I love using this color because if I draw my eyebrows with gray or dark colors, I might end up looking like a cartoon character. It doesn't show up well on the back of my hand, but that's to be expected for a natural look on the eyebrows, right? Staying power: It stays put from morning until I wash my face. I've never had to worry about my eyebrows fading. Design: Unlike regular hard formulas, it has a built-in spoolie brush, which is super convenient. I used to carry a separate spoolie brush when using hard formulas, but now there's no need! Automatic: Unlike regular hard formulas, there's no need to sharpen it! I'm not good at sharpening pencils, so I used to go to Shu Uemura counters for their sharpening service, which was a hassle. With this auto hard formula, there's no need to sharpen, and it even has a built-in simple blade to neatly trim the lead! It's so convenient and great.
ConsWhile it's more expensive than hard formulas, it contains much less product. With hard formulas, you can use them down to a stub, but with this auto hard formula, the lead is really... short... haha.
TipWhen used with an eyebrow mascara, you can create much more natural-looking eyebrows with defined texture! Plus, the staying power becomes even better. It can last for about two nights without budging (lol).

Even with my combination dehydrated skin, the staying power is excellent and the color payoff is fantastic.
ConsIt applies so well that you go through it quickly. It's a bit softer than a pencil type, which might be why it gets used up faster.
TipSince I have combination skin, I lightly dust some powder on my brows before applying. This helps it go on even smoother. After application, I set it with a light dusting of powder, which seems to make it last even longer.

I was also satisfied with its staying power! The color is a natural brown shade, which I really liked.
ConsThe price is wickedly high... Considering the amount you get, it's quite expensive. That's the only downside for me.

The brush attached to the auto applicator is delightfully soft. The convenience of being refillable is another plus.
ConsThe price is a bit steep. Unless I can get it duty-free, I might have to think twice about purchasing.

ConsThe price and quantity are disappointing. Even though it's an auto-type, there's more than a $10 difference compared to pencils, while the amount is so much less... It seems like less than half of a pencil. I use it sparingly because it feels wasteful
TipIt definitely applies better on skin with a bit of makeup on! When I tried to use it on skin with some oil, it would pill and clump, so I set my skin with powder before using it
