I really liked that it has good coverage while still feeling moisturizing. The adherence to the skin is great too! It leaves a slightly grayish cast when applied. It seems to darken the skin a bit more than I'd like. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 20, 2018
Great coverage and long-lasting hydration! It matches my complexion perfectly, which I love. I don't really have any major complaints. It's great to apply this right after my skincare routine and sunscreen, just patting it on gently. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2018
This cushion is truly amazing! Despite being shade 21, it's not overly bright and gives a really clean, flawless complexion. On days when I use this cushion, I've received many compliments on how well my makeup looks and how healthy my skin appears. I highly recommend it! I personally prefer brighter cushions, and even though this is shade 21, it's not as bright as I'd like. This could be seen as both a pro and a con, depending on your preference. - li*******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityNov 25, 2017
Hydrating Good coverage (I've upgraded this from average to good) Graceful fading (no darkening) Affordable price Case design doesn't look cheap Longevity Becomes too greasy after a short while (looks more like oil than a healthy glow) Average coverage Applies thickly Some transfer I have dry skin but don't like a shiny finish. However, most base products for dry skin tend to give a dewy look. If you have similar preferences, try applying powder with a brush after using this cushion for a final touch. By the way, why is this product discontinued? Update: Using this again in winter after wearing it in summer, I find the hydration and moisture perfect for colder weather. This seems to be ideal as a winter product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2017
As someone with super sensitive skin, I always check Hwahae when choosing base products. I bought this one because Hwahae users with sensitive skin recommended it, and I'm thrilled to say that during use, I didn't experience any blemishes at all - my skin felt like honey! Plus, it's fantastic for achieving that inner glow, and when applied, my complexion looks absolutely porcelain-like... The shade 21 was extremely light, and its very glossy finish might be overwhelming for those with oily skin. However... with the renewal, this product has been discontinued. I'm already at a loss as to where I'll find another product like this. Since the ingredients likely changed with the renewal, I'm considering buying the new version when it's on sale, even if it means potentially wasting money. - db********Combination SkinAcne SkinOct 15, 2017
Overall, it's great! The coverage is decent, it's moisturizing, and has good staying power. I didn't experience any blemishes! Since I have oily skin, it did tend to break down, but touch-ups cover well again. There was no caking or patchiness, and the color stays bright. After applying this, I finished with the Peach Cotton Powder from Skinfood, and my skin looked much brighter and cleaner! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 11, 2017
My T-zone is oily, while my cheeks are dry. I've always avoided cushion foundations due to my excessively oily skin, but this product keeps my skin matte and I'm quite satisfied with it. When applying, it doesn't give an overwhelming shine, but rather blends in naturally. I initially bought it for touch-ups over my Armani foundation, but I think I could use just this cushion alone when the weather gets cooler. - Color: There's a huge gap between shades 21 and 23. The 23 made my complexion look too dark, so I tried my sister's shade 21, which was perfect. - Longevity: As someone who's used Armani and Estée Lauder, the staying power isn't great. Touch-ups are necessary, but on the plus side, it doesn't leave a white cast. Keep an eye out for sales periods - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2017
I was worried at first since it's my first time using it, but it's really great! It seems perfect for this weather. The coverage is average - it hides redness from blemishes well, but you might want to use a concealer for dark circles. I'm so satisfied...! I'm happiest that it doesn't cause any blemishes. However, unlike my previous Verite product, this one feels quite thick even with a small amount, almost like it's clumping... Still, it's fine if you pat and blend it well. I think I'll need to apply it in small dots. It's nice that a little goes a long way! I usually use shade 21, but this one's a bit lighter, so it looks a bit unnatural. I'll get shade 23 next time! Oh...? I ended up writing all the cons in the pros section... How silly of me... I think just a small amount will do the trick - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 3, 2017
I absolutely love this product! It's wonderfully hydrating without feeling sticky, and the shade 21 is a perfect match - truly beautiful. The coverage is medium, and the staying power is pretty good, lasting quite well throughout the day. There's nothing particularly bad about it, but I don't feel a strong urge to repurchase. It's just not quite compelling enough to make me want to buy it again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 27, 2017
It doesn't clog pores and creates a beautiful skin finish! It's a bit sticky, so hair tends to stick to it. It might be better to gently pat the powder around the edges of your face.
