Signature Dewy Rouge [Desert Coral] This lipstick seems to suit all skin tones, whether warm or cool. The color payoff is truly beautiful, and I'm impressed every time I apply it. As a moisturizing coral shade, it doesn't feel dry on the lips during winter. Despite being a hydrating lipstick, it doesn't feel sticky or heavy like a lip gloss (it feels lightweight). It's a lipstick that barely emphasizes dead skin cells (those with very dry lips might want to apply a lip balm separately). The application is smooth, and it looks great whether you apply it as a gradient or full lip. The luxurious design makes me feel good every time I carry it around. Well... It does transfer. It tends to come off when drinking or eating (well, it is a lipstick after all). It also tends to get on your teeth, so wipe the inside of your upper lip with a tissue or cotton swab. It looks beautiful when you use a vibrant red for a gradient effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinDec 13, 2017
The Desert Coral lip has ascended to the top of my life! The color is so natural and beautiful. Just one application gives great color payoff and a moisturized, glowy look that makes my lips look lively. Since it's winter, I was hesitant about matte lipsticks, so I bought this hydrating lip during the Pepero Day sale, and I've been using it constantly. The downside is that since it's so moisturizing, the color doesn't last long when eating. I already have a lot of lip flakiness, so I'm not sure if this makes the condition of my lips worse or not. If you just apply a light layer and spread it out, it creates a natural, lively lip look. The MLBB coral color would be perfect for warm spring tones. Even when used as a full-coverage lip, the color is not too overwhelming and still looks natural. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 13, 2017
First of all, the color is absolutely gorgeous...I don't have any coral-based lipsticks...I don't like reds and oranges, so I only wear coral, but even with exfoliating, the flakes just pop up the next day and I can't wear matte lipsticks... But...I bought the Peripera Air Velvet...haha...Anyway, while I was becoming a lipstick nomad, my mom bought me the Coralicious, and the Desert Coral is so pretty that I kept an eye on it and bought it for 8,000 won when it was 50% off!!!! Everyone, Missha's 50% sales are the best, please buy it! I love glossy finishes, so I really like this. It applies beautifully without a lip brush. First, outline your lip color, then dot it in the center and gently pat it all over your lips. Don't rub it, or it will come off! Then it'll be perfect. This looks beautiful even with just a bare lip, and it's also pretty when you dab it on top of foundation. Full lips are nice, but the gradient look is pretty too, and you don't even need a lip brush. The case is also luxurious, but use a lip brush for the best application and an even finish. The case is so luxurious that even teenagers might feel self-conscious taking it out in the bathroom... The longevity...not so great...You can apply a similar color tint and dab it on top, though. Hwahae...948...No.4...that lip brush...so good...with this lip color...Etude House Juicy Tangerine Tint...as a blush...so fresh and lovely... 1. Top - Multiple swatches, Bottom - Single swatch 2. Wiped off after 1 minute 3. Wiped off with a wet wipe after 4 minutes 4. Freshly applied, applied lightly and coolly 5. Selfie = This is the beautiful color! Similar to natural light! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 23, 2017
Due to the flakiness, I can't use matte products. I haven't tried many other lipsticks, so I don't have much to compare it to, but it's on the more moisturizing side. After applying, I don't particularly feel it drying out. It doesn't seem to have very strong staying power. Anything I drink ends up wiping it off... - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 16, 2017
This is a lip product that I always recommend to my friends. It's so moisturizing, which is great for the winter, but it's not overly greasy, so I've used it in the summer too. I'm on my 4th repurchase - it's really that good! Why don't you all try the Desert Coral shade? Seriously, it's amazing. Of course, it may not suit everyone, but the color payoff is just beautiful. If you want an extra tip, try layering a brighter red over the Desert Coral for a gorgeous gradient effect (I used Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy 330 Rebellious Red, and the color is amazing). The shade is a slightly pink-toned red, so it may look a bit floating on darker skin tones, but it'll be a total lip jackpot for those with lighter complexions. I tend to layer it on, so I go through it quickly, but a single swipe gives a beautiful, natural look too. It's an absolute holy grail, but I know the 14,800 won price tag can be a bit steep, so I recommend snagging it during sales or buy-one-get-one deals. As it's a lip product, I didn't experience any major breakouts. The only slight downside is that the moisture-rich formula doesn't have the best longevity - the color tends to fade a bit when eating. And of course, like any lip product, the actual color payoff can vary depending on your natural lip tone and condition. But I've been raving about this for over a year or two, so if you're interested, I'd suggest rushing to the Missha store during their next big sale! As I mentioned in the positives, applying the Desert Coral all over and then adding a vibrant red gradient in the center is just stunning! I used the Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy 330 Rebellious Red. I got it during a duty-free trip, so you might not be able to find it in regular stores, but definitely check it out if you have a chance to visit the duty-free shops. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 25, 2016
The color payoff was really good, and it wasn't overly matte or watery - it had a nice, moderate moisture level which I liked. The longevity was also decent, so I repurchased it. Depending on the condition, it can sometimes emphasize flaky skin. Gradient application by hand - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 3, 2016
It's moisturizing I don't like the feeling of lip balms or glossy, sticky products, but this one is glossy yet not too heavy. The color payoff is good, and the color is pretty. Surprisingly, the packaging feels premium, unlike typical Missha products. Candy-like scent. A sweet fragrance like that of candy. Can't be used for eating It completely wears off. Leaves a lot of residue on the cup. The longevity is not great. Despite all the pros mentioned above, I can only give it 3 stars ㅠ Not a tip, just a reference The color seems similar to Espoir No Wear Orange Hills, so you can check out the swatch The top one is Espoir (matte), and the bottom one is Missha (moisturizing/glossy) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 31, 2016
First of all, the color is so, so beautiful! It's not too bright, nor is it too dull - it's a calm, pretty coral color. I usually go for brighter colors because muted shades can make my face look dull, but I happened to visit Missha and asked the sales associate to recommend a color that's not too dark. She suggested this Desert Coral, and I fell in love with it as soon as I applied it! It applies smoothly and feels moisturizing. It's not completely matte, which I like. (The photo doesn't do it justice... the line work isn't great.) It transfers way too easily. The staying power is really poor. Since it's not a tint and has good application, I guess this is unavoidable. Even without touching my lips, the color disappears from the inner part of my lips, leaving it only on the lip line. The color itself is a lifesaver, though. I don't have any specific tips, but since it applies so well, it tends to transfer a lot. After applying, you can lightly blot the inner part of your upper lip with a tissue to prevent getting color on your teeth. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 12, 2015
The product was not matte and the color was very beautiful. The case design was also satisfactory. There are many disappointing aspects of this product. The difference in application between the back of the hand and the lips is too severe. The color payoff on the back of the hand was amazing, but when applied to the lips, it was like a lip gloss. I had to layer it multiple times, which became inconvenient. Even the case keeps separating. I am very disappointed with Missha.
