I love how easy it makes removing eye makeup and cleansing my face The cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong, and it doesn't lather up much - us*****Combination SkinJan 7, 2018
This is truly a gentle cleanser... I used to just wash with water because my skin would turn red when I used cleansing foams, but I bought this because my skin was getting too oily. After researching which cleanser to buy, I ended up purchasing 2 bottles + 4 refills, totaling 6 bottles! First off, I love how squeaky clean my skin feels after using this, and I really like the texture. How should I describe it... It's not heavy like a foam, doesn't lather up excessively, and isn't greasy like an oil... It's just perfect. The scent is a bit... It was a bit challenging to use in the morning when I first woke up... Just give it a try! - 11******Combination SkinMay 4, 2017
Hydrating. Gentle cleansing power. Removes base makeup well. Will definitely repurchase! These days, I really appreciate cleansers with this kind of moisturizing, mild feel. I can't think of any bad points, but if you prefer cleansers that leave your skin feeling squeaky clean, you might want to skip this one. This product doesn't give that squeaky clean sensation at all. Also, regardless of which cleanser you use, always use a separate makeup remover for color cosmetics. - ji***Combination SkinOct 19, 2016
I bought this from a home shopping channel and it's quite affordable and useful! While I personally enjoy a squeaky clean feeling, this one does leave a slightly slippery sensation. - cu*******Combination SkinAcne SkinJul 26, 2016
While it may not provide a perfect double cleanse, I absolutely love how moisturizing and gentle it feels! My skin feels incredibly soft after cleansing. Best of all, it's so mild and non-irritating - that's a big win in my book! The double cleansing isn't as thorough as I had hoped. I wear mascara daily, and this cleanser falls short when it comes to completely removing it. For best results, I recommend using a cleansing oil around the eyes and mouth first, then following up with this cleanser. - ch*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 19, 2016
After washing, my face looks radiant. Though it eventually returns to its natural state, haha! Nothing particularly bad to mention, it was pretty decent overall. - su*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinJun 25, 2016
I stumbled upon this product through a blog review and bought it at a great price. It's been serving me well. It doesn't leave a squeaky-clean feeling nor does it feel particularly moisturizing. I just apply it comfortably under my sunscreen and cushion foundation for everyday use. It doesn't give me any strong impressions, either good or bad. The packaging feels a bit cheap, though. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 24, 2016
I always stuck to the same cleanser because switching would cause breakouts. But this product doesn't trigger any blemishes! I've tried many expensive cleansers, but this one's the best. It's affordable and effective. It feels a bit slippery after cleansing... - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 16, 2016
This product claims to be a multi-functional cleanser combining foam, water, oil, and balm. To put it simply, the texture feels like dish soap - but in a good way! It's like applying dish soap to your face and washing it off. There's no foam at all, and it has an oil-like feel without being greasy. You apply it to a dry face and massage for about a minute, like an oil cleanser. What's impressive is that it's not sticky, and after rinsing, your skin feels moisturized without any tightness (amazing how these two can coexist!). I'd give it high marks for that. Honestly, Aekyung really knows how to make great cleansers. The finish is refreshing without feeling slimy, so I'd recommend it for all skin types. While I rarely get blemishes (except hormonal ones), I think even those with (moderately) sensitive skin might want to give this a try. Personally, I love that it comes in a pump bottle - most multi-cleansers are balms or gels that require opening lids, which can be a hassle. As for its cleansing power, while I never skip double cleansing, it seems to remove everything except mascara. I tend to use 3-4 pumps generously, so I'm not sure how well it would work with less product. Still, always double cleanse, especially if you're using sunscreen. Proper cleansing is crucial, as not removing long-wearing foundations or primers thoroughly can lead to blemishes, regardless of the cleanser used. As for whether it removes sebum, I've never actually seen or felt sebum coming out when using oil cleansers (I know, right?), so I can't say for sure, but it seems minimal. The Aekyung online store often runs buy-one-get-one-free promotions these days. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 4, 2015
I loved that I didn't need to double cleanse, and my skin felt incredibly soft after using it. I didn't really have any issues... Maybe because I have oily skin. I've heard that those with dry skin might experience some tightness after cleansing though.
