I've been using this product for such a long time. It's a love-hate relationship with this item that keeps being discontinued and then reintroduced... Now it's become a staple that I stock up on! The staying power is absolutely fantastic, and you don't need to meticulously apply it while looking in the mirror - it's incredibly quick and easy to put on! Tony Moly's red-toned tints generally maintain a pinkish stain. However, being a strong red color, it settles into a slightly darker pink, which is actually quite nice. The downside is that it keeps getting discontinued... Tony Moly keeps eliminating products with a real cult following. What a shame! - s-****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2022
It absorbs well and the color suits my fair, cool-toned skin perfectly Over time, it seems to peel off with a pinkish tint. It also tends to clump together and lift off the skin in a soft, mushy way - mm********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 16, 2022
It's my favorite cherry red shade! I repurchased this because I remember loving its vibrant color payoff, smooth melting texture, and how it applied with a hydrated feel while still having great staying power. The longevity is still impressive as ever! I compared it to a similar product I own, the Holika Holika Water Vibe Tint, in terms of color payoff and lasting power. The comparison shade from Water Vibe Tint is 'Gogo', which is also a cherry red. The Get It Tint Water Bar definitely outperformed in both color intensity and longevity. Even after rubbing with a cotton pad, the color remained vivid, showing excellent pigmentation. When I tried wiping it off with a wet wipe, the Water Vibe Tint came off completely, while the Get It Tint was still going strong. I love how it stays fixed on the skin without coming off every time you eat or drink. Yet it's not difficult to remove - it comes off easily with lip and eye makeup remover. The swatches are in this order: right after application, after wiping with a cotton pad, and after wiping with a wet wipe. Compared to the Water Vibe Tint, the one really disappointing aspect was the lack of hydration. While the Water Vibe Tint has a similar texture and applies smoothly, it dries quickly, which was a letdown. But the Get It Tint Water Bar goes beyond just drying - it actually feels like it's stripping moisture from your lips. It makes your lips flaky and dry. Despite being called a water tint, the hydration seems to be just for smooth application, with zero moisture left for your lips. However, due to its superior color payoff and staying power, I'll keep using it while making sure to maintain good lip care routines. Make sure to consistently exfoliate your lips while using this product. If you're a fan of this tint, it's best to keep your lips well-moisturized as part of your regular skincare routine. - fu****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 25, 2021
I love how well it creates a gradient effect! I find that lipsticks in this form give a prettier gradient than tint types. When you apply it, it feels cool and refreshing. It's not a warm sensation, but a pleasantly cool one that I really enjoy. The color adheres well too. I've been a nomad unable to settle on a tint, but I think I'll be settling down with this one! While the ingredients list could be better, I understand that color cosmetics with 'cleaner' formulas often don't stain as well. Also, it does transfer a bit when it comes into contact with liquids. For the best gradient effect, try patting it on gently and then lightly swipe it on the inner part of your lips. It works wonders for creating that perfect ombre look! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2021
The moisturizing application and long-lasting power might just be top-tier in the lip tint world. It looks absolutely gorgeous when you apply a thin layer of light pink matte lip color and blend it into a gradient on the inner lips! First off, the color payoff is really intense. There's also an initial emphasis on dead skin cells. I thought it would be less noticeable due to the moisturizing effect, but I was mistaken. Sigh... And in summer, the little water droplets that form on the lip surface are a bit unsightly. A toned-down pink coral matte lip + water bar. Now that's a dream combination. - 94*****Dry SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2021
I've been using this for years. There was a long period when it was out of stock or discontinued, but as soon as it became available again, I stocked up in bulk! It transfers a bit, unfortunately. If you go swimming or get wet, you might see some red stains. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2021
True to its name 'Water Bar', it glides on incredibly smoothly. I loved that even with just one application, you get a vibrant pop of color. For those with slightly darker complexions, this might make your lips look disconnected from your face. Also, the stained color is a bit too pink. - hs********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2020
This is my all-time favorite lip tint stick. When it was first released as a summer-limited product, I was so in love with it that I stocked up on several, fearing it might disappear. I'm relieved it's now part of their permanent collection. Despite my tendency to get dry, flaky lips, this product doesn't cause any dead skin cells to appear. It adheres thinly to the lips, providing great color payoff without any stickiness or shine. It's transfer-proof, which is a huge plus, especially now when mask-wearing is essential. It barely leaves any marks on the mask. While it's a bit vulnerable to water and can be easily removed if it gets wet, overall, it has good staying power. I love how it sets to a matte finish while staying put. I hope this product never gets discontinued! The downside is that it tends to dry out and harden in patches over time. Also, I wish the ingredients were better. - an*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2020
I've been using this tint for 10 years, since middle school! Even with my super sensitive skin, I've had no adverse reactions, and its staying power is monstrous. It's my go-to base layer whenever I apply lipstick. I was heartbroken when it was discontinued for a while, but it looks like it's here to stay now! While everything else is great, it can be extremely drying, so you absolutely must use lip care alongside it. There's also a chance it might leave patchy stains. The pink stain is perfect for cool-toned skin - just apply and wait for the magic to happen! - ai******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 23, 2020
- The beautiful red color and unique texture are really fascinating! It feels cool and glides on smoothly when applied, as if it's melting with your body heat. The staining power is quite intense! It reminds me of the water drop tint from Hwahae. - You don't have to worry about it fading, and it doesn't transfer much either! The scent is strawberry-like? I'm not entirely sure. - It's quite affordable too! There aren't many downsides, but controlling the amount can be tricky... If you apply too much, your lips can become overly red. It looks prettiest when you apply it as a gradient, using just the right amount.
