I was able to naturally highlight my aegyo sal (under-eye puffiness) and the inner corners of my eyes. It doesn't apply evenly and clumps a bit. There's a slight colored pencil scent to it. - in********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedAug 23, 2019
I bought this because it looked similar to the Benefit pencil. The Benefit one has a light pink shade that's not heavy, with fine shimmering pearls that look natural on the skin and apply more smoothly. However, this product is so affordable that it's not bad for the price. It has a slightly whiter tone and absorbs well too. It's great for adding a highlight. It's inconvenient without a pencil sharpener. Since the formula is soft, when I try to sharpen it with a knife, it often breaks off in chunks. - in***Oily SkinSensitive SkinJul 14, 2018
The slightly short yet chubby pencil actually gave me a sense of stability while drawing. As it's a recently released product, all the ones available have recent manufacturing dates, which are clearly and prominently displayed, making it trustworthy. I like that. The formula feels soft, so it seems like it won't harden even after prolonged use. The texture was different from what I expected. I thought it would be a slightly firm pencil, but it's extremely soft. I was hoping for a stick liner feel, but it's even softer than most stick shadows. It's a pink-beige color with a strong white undertone. Due to the soft formula, it doesn't apply thinly, making the color stand out more. It's far from natural-looking. The overly soft texture makes thin application difficult and causes clumping. Even when gently blending with a cotton swab, it just smudges instead of blending. The texture seems more suitable for use as a stick shadow or for the aegyo sal, but the color is too white and slightly clumpy, making it challenging to use without looking unnatural. It clumps on the eyelashes too. Another downside of the soft type is that it's hard to maintain its shape when sharpening. - ya*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2017
I absolutely adore this product! I've never seen a pencil highlighter that gives such a natural and radiant color. I tried other products but always came back to this one. The price is incredibly affordable too. It used to be available at Olive Young, but now I just order three at a time online since it's harder to find in stores. Being a pencil type, you really need to sharpen it with a knife. I understand they use this packaging to keep the price down instead of an auto-type, but I wish they'd at least sell a sharpener with it. The pencil is quite thick, so you need a special sharpener that fits this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 19, 2017
It's affordable and occasionally works well for filling in the under-eye area. It's also great for quick eyebrow grooming - just swipe it on and you're done. I have to admit, the color payoff is decent and its creamy texture makes it easy to apply. If you have darker skin, absolutely avoid this product. It'll make you look like an artificial human. It might work for lighter skin tones around 13-21, but for darker complexions, you'll end up looking unnatural. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 21, 2017
I absolutely love this product! I bought it to use as a highlighter, and I highly recommend it to those who can't handle shimmery products. If you dislike how glitter can make your skin look messy and emphasize pores, you must try this! I've also tried light-colored concealers, but they made my makeup look cakey. This is by far the best option, and it's incredibly affordable too! I usually apply foundation with a brush, but I always finish with a cushion puff or sometimes use the puff from the start (just the puff, not a cushion foundation). After applying foundation and before setting with powder, I gently swipe this on my forehead, nose, under-eyes, and chin, then blend it out with the puff for a natural finish. It's great value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a subtle highlight without screaming 'I'm wearing highlighter!' The main issue is that it's quite chalky. While it's okay for the price, the wooden pencil design means the wooden part can scratch your skin when applying. I haven't been injured, but it's annoying when it disturbs my makeup. Other than that, I didn't have any major problems! - ky*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2017
I bought this to fill in the under-eye area for a more awake look, and I'm using it well. I occasionally use it as a highlighter too. The shimmer particles are so fine, it's perfect for the waterline. It applies very smoothly for me. It's a versatile product that I reach for often! It's inconvenient that you have to sharpen it. When using as a highlighter, controlling the amount is crucial! If you apply too much, it pills and looks patchy! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 30, 2017
Incredibly soft and gentle. It's so delicate that it transfers easily with the lightest touch. Doesn't cause any discomfort when applied anywhere. I usually use it on my lower lash line, and I'm satisfied because it's non-irritating and the color payoff is great. The quantity is generous, so it lasts much longer than you'd expect. While it's meant to be a highlighter, it doesn't quite fulfill that role. If you try to brighten specific areas after completing your base makeup, it tends to cause pilling or make your foundation shift. Regardless of the application method, I noticed it slightly disrupted my base, so I stopped using it on my face. Being a pencil product, there's inevitably some waste when sharpening. Also, if you use this after other products, you might notice clumping that isn't apparent when used alone. I find it works best for me as an eye brightener on the lower lash line rather than as a traditional highlighter. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 28, 2016
I bought both the pearlescent and non-pearlescent versions. I got the pearlescent one to apply to the center of my eyelids, and the non-pearlescent for smoothing eyebrows, covering dark circles under the eyes, highlighting cheekbones, and defining the cupid's bow. First off, the price is really affordable, so you can buy it freely even without a sale. In terms of application, the non-pearlescent version glides on more smoothly than the pearlescent one. However, because they're so soft, they can smudge easily. Be careful not to apply too much pressure, or it might cake up and look patchy. I recommend applying it with a light touch. You need a chunky pencil sharpener, so I suggest buying one if you don't have it. I bought mine from Olive Young. - zz*****Dry SkinJul 4, 2016
Even if you apply it generously, it brightens naturally when blended. It's convenient for contouring the under-eye area, forehead, cheeks, and nose all at once. Best of all, it's affordable. I'm 100% going to repurchase. For dry skin, it pills a lot when blending. Being a pencil, it's a hassle to sharpen. It's always sold out whenever I visit Watson's stores.
