I've received so many compliments on my skin when wearing this. Even when my skin is in terrible condition, it covers well! If you're thinking 'My skin seems dry, but it gets oily, and I have blemishes... what a nightmare!' - just buy this if you can afford it. Your oiliness will transform into a beautiful glow when it meets this foundation. Of course, it does break down over time, but in such a pretty way that you'll think 'So this is what they mean by graceful wear-off?' However, if you're an oil party celebrity, make sure to set it with powder, for goodness' sake! It mixes well with concealer - foundation plus concealer equals flawless skin! But remember, the higher the concealer ratio, the less gracefully it wears off. Buying this made me realize why people splurge on foundation... It's a personal preference, but I love it. The scent is also lovely, making me feel good every time I apply my makeup.
ConsThe color comes out a bit dark. I bought the lightest shade, but it's still dark... I guess that's just my desire to look brighter?
TipFor combination dehydrated skin, buying this is a pro tip!

This one, though, is on the darker side among Guerlain foundations. Shade 1 matches my 22 skin tone perfectly. You know how brushes and puffs have improved lately? With careful patting, you can experience that Inner Glow coming through. People say it lacks coverage, but it's just slightly less than the Parure Gold I'm using, maybe similar to L'Or? Definitely do a color test. The texture feels like a mix of foundation and emulsion - wonderfully hydrating. Thankfully, the bottle opening doesn't get clogged up. With Parure Perfection, pumping was always a bit stressful.
ConsWell, I use it without complaints, but I always wish there was a wider range of colors available.
TipYou don't necessarily need to use L'Or primer. I used to be a L'Or fanatic, but now I just blend in a bit of hydrating serum or cream, or pat it on with a puff (cushion puffs work great too) spritzed generously with face mist. Even if your skin texture isn't great, it provides decent coverage. Hoping this helps with your choice! I've compared the Guerlain foundation colors I'm using (excluding Tenue de Perfection 02 as it's the darkest shade). The coverage is pretty similar across the board. The main difference is whether they have a pink or yellow base (Blanc de Perle has a pink base and is half a shade more muted). Parure Perfection has a slightly thicker texture, while L'Or and Blanc de Perle are smoother.

Minimal darkening and gives a smooth, glowing complexion!
ConsThe coverage is a bit light, so it might not hide blemishes or dark spots well

A pea-sized amount is enough to cover the whole face. I recommended it to a coworker who also likes it. I use it sparingly, so while it doesn't provide heavy coverage, it evens out the skin tone and creates a natural, glowing complexion.
ConsThe shade is a bit dark. Those with fair skin might want to avoid this. I'm deducting one star due to the color range.

ConsFor combination skin, it tends to break down in summer heat Slight darkening effect observed

ConsCauses darkening (if you swatch it on the back of your hand, that area turns yellowish after about an hour) The color looks dull... regardless of being light or dark, it gives an unhealthy complexion, like you're constipated Despite its good performance and year-round usability (I've finished two bottles), I switched to another product because the color was so disappointing

However, this foundation is perfect for those important days when you need more coverage. It keeps my skin moisturized without emphasizing dryness or dead skin cells. The way it wears throughout the day is beautiful. For those with dry skin, as time passes, it mixes with your natural oils to create a lovely glow - I think this is what makes its wear so pretty. No need for a separate concealer! I use Dior Skin Nude Fluid in summer and this one in winter.
ConsThe price is quite steep, and I'm a bit disappointed with the ingredients. I wonder why they chose these particular components. However, I haven't experienced any allergic reactions or blemishes, which is why I'm still using it. While I can use cheaper products for skincare basics, I insist on high-quality, pricier foundations. That's why I stick to Guerlain or Dior - they're worth the price. I usually use Dior in 010 or average 21 shade. Guerlain's 21 is a bit dark, but it still gives a natural skin finish.
TipI've tried all the supposedly hydrating foundations from Bobbi Brown, Make Up For Ever, Clinique, and others, but always ended up back with Dior or Guerlain due to issues with dryness, pilling, emphasizing dead skin cells, and ashy tones. This shade might be too dark for those who usually use lighter than 21. I'd say it's between 21 and 23. If you have dry skin, you absolutely must try this!

It matches my skin tone perfectly! The application is smooth and moisturizing. As time passes, it gives a slightly dewy finish that makes my skin look amazing. The coverage is just right too. I have sensitive skin, but this didn't cause any blemishes at all - I'm very satisfied! Even when I've tried products with good ingredients, they sometimes cause irritation, but not this one. Using a damp wedge puff or a dry Real Techniques sponge increases coverage and longevity while still giving a nice glow! I loved the scent - it's like a mix of flowers and powder (personal preference). It's the only foundation that doesn't emphasize dead skin cells on my nose. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out!
ConsIt doesn't really fill in pores. I'd recommend this to those who want a thin, natural-looking foundation that matches their complexion.

As it settles, it breaks down beautifully, giving off a lovely glow. I've been using it for fall and winter, and it provides decent hydration while offering pretty good coverage.
ConsThe shade range is a bit disappointing. I tried shade 1, which seems to be about equivalent to a slightly darker 21. Despite having a pink base, it doesn't really give a bright look. Also, as someone who's not a fan of reddish undertones, the pink base was another drawback for me.
TipSince this is a base product, let me first describe my skin type. I have combination skin that's generally dehydrated, but with an oily T-zone. In winter, my U-zone, like around the mouth and cheeks, gets extremely dry. I struggle with blackheads and occasional blemishes on my forehead, but overall I don't have acne-prone skin or many dark spots. I do have a slight redness to my complexion (maybe rosacea?). My skin tone is on the lighter side, so the typical 21 shade matches me perfectly for a natural look. As I mentioned in the cons, the shade was a bit disappointing. Since it's darker and redder than my natural skin tone, it could make me look dull. To combat this, I apply a thin layer of this foundation and then use a concealer one shade lighter than my skin on highlight areas, or I layer on a very light, almost white foundation that's good for strobing and applies thinly. This foundation itself has decent coverage, and with the double layer of base, I don't need to use a separate concealer. This is usually how I finish my base (sometimes with powder, depending on my skin condition). The key seems to be applying thin layers to avoid a heavy, cakey look.

It gives a natural, dewy glow - like you're glowing from within! Despite applying thinly, it offers decent coverage, so I used it up to the last drop. Best of all, it didn't cause any blemishes!
ConsMy skin tone is around shade 22, but even the lightest shade looked quite dark and made me appear dull. It might work if you've got a tan in summer? It's probably best suited for those with a shade 23 complexion. The biggest downside, though, is the hefty price tag... yikes!
TipYou can adjust the color by mixing it with other makeup bases or lighter BB creams. When it does start to wear off, it does so beautifully! I think it's best to mix foundations for the perfect result.
