I've received so many compliments on my skin when wearing this. Even when my skin is in terrible condition, it covers well! If you're thinking 'My skin seems dry, but it gets oily, and I have blemishes... what a nightmare!' - just buy this if you can afford it. Your oiliness will transform into a beautiful glow when it meets this foundation. Of course, it does break down over time, but in such a pretty way that you'll think 'So this is what they mean by graceful wear-off?' However, if you're an oil party celebrity, make sure to set it with powder, for goodness' sake! It mixes well with concealer - foundation plus concealer equals flawless skin! But remember, the higher the concealer ratio, the less gracefully it wears off. Buying this made me realize why people splurge on foundation... It's a personal preference, but I love it. The scent is also lovely, making me feel good every time I apply my makeup.
ConsThe color comes out a bit dark. I bought the lightest shade, but it's still dark... I guess that's just my desire to look brighter?
TipFor combination dehydrated skin, buying this is a pro tip!

Despite its high coverage, it applies smoothly. It's also more hydrating compared to other full-coverage foundations.
ConsWhile the ingredients might not be ideal, those with resilient skin like mine probably won't mind much. However, you'll definitely notice some dryness as time passes after application. The biggest drawback is the limited shade range. Even though this is the lightest shade, they really need to offer even lighter options.
TipIt's best to use this with a good hydrating base or moisturizer. And as with all Guerlain products, I recommend purchasing from online duty-free shops for the best deals.

Even though I rarely touch up my makeup, it doesn't break down significantly by evening.
ConsSeems unavoidable that it makes the T-zone a bit oily. Need to finish with powder to prevent hair from sticking to face. The price is a bit steep.

The application is decent and it really sinks in nicely.
ConsThe fragrance is overwhelmingly strong, almost like perfume. Upon checking, I noticed the ingredients aren't great either. I was planning to use it up, but now that I'm pregnant, I'm looking to switch.

While it may break down quickly in summer, I can't do my makeup without this in winter. 2. Excellent coverage The pink base makes my face look radiant. It's moderately moisturizing while providing satisfying coverage, so it's worth every penny. In the photo, the first is Guerlain Blanc de Perle, the second is Estée Lauder Double Wear, and the third is Shu Uemura Blanc Cushion. 3. No milia formation According to Hwahae, the ingredients aren't great, but I'm using it well because it doesn't cause milia. Ironically, products with better ingredients seem to cause more blemishes. 4. When applied with a sponge, it doesn't emphasize pores 5. A rare pink-based foundation from Guerlain
Cons1. Betrayal of ingredients Considering its high price, the ingredients are quite disappointing. I still use it because it doesn't cause blemishes, but this aspect is regrettable. 2. Mediocre longevity The longevity isn't outstanding, so you need to touch up or mix it with other foundations. 3. Expensive
TipFor better longevity, mix it with Estée Lauder Double Wear and apply with a sponge for the best combination.

Even though I have oily skin that tends to break down makeup quickly and darken, this product wears beautifully. Compared to other products, it doesn't darken as much on my skin.
ConsThe coverage isn't great. Also, considering the price, the amount is too small. It has a thin consistency, so you end up using a lot and it runs out quickly.
TipIt works well with fingers, sponges, and puffs. I haven't tried it with a brush, so I can't comment on that.

As someone with shade 02, I found it perfect for brightening my skin or mixing a small amount with thicker foundations. When applied sparingly with a foundation brush, it goes on smoothly, feels hydrating, and adheres well without darkening. It's not suffocating, applies moistly, and finishes with a soft matte effect, making it ideal for summer use. Unlike some foundations that caused blemishes for me in the past, this one doesn't irritate my skin. I'll likely use it up, though at this rate, it might last until its expiration date!
ConsWhat about the ingredients? While I try not to obsess over foundation ingredients as long as they don't cause blemishes, it's worth noting. I bought it for its supposed resistance to melting, but it seems to require a good skincare routine underneath. When my skin is dry, it can look a bit patchy after a while. It applies thinly and feels hydrating, but this means it's prone to fingerprints. I got it duty-free, which made the price more palatable, but at full retail price? I'm not so sure.
TipIf you have warm undertones or shade 02, I wouldn't recommend this unless you plan to mix it with other products.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.Pros* Skin type - Combination dehydrated skin, struggling with blemishes * Reasons for choosing: 1) Moisturizing yet matte finish Initially feels hydrating, then sets to a smooth, non-greasy finish. 2) Thin and lightweight coverage 3) Graceful wear-off As someone with oily skin, I found the go-to Double Wear foundation too heavy and suffocating. I was searching for something thin, light, and matte that would let my skin breathe when I discovered Guerlain's Impressionist foundation. Having been a foundation nomad due to my blemish-prone skin, I was relieved to find that Blanc de Perle actually helped calm my breakouts. Of course, this is just my personal experience, so I recommend testing it yourself. While there is some darkening, it wears off beautifully. If applied thinly on a hot summer day when you're super oily, it might fade even with powder. However, it stays put well when combined with powder and setting spray.
Cons1) The price... the price... the PRICE!!!! It's quite expensive Although a pea-sized amount goes a long way when applied quickly, the price is still hard to swallow. 2) Coverage - Due to its thin and lightweight nature, the coverage is relatively low. However, I didn't need full coverage anyway since I use concealer for spot-treating hyperpigmentation and freckles. In fact, the light and thin application helped with blemish care (I tried to keep it as sheer as possible to let my skin breathe).
TipAfter applying 3 layers of toner, emulsion, and sunscreen, while there's still some oiliness, quickly squeeze out a pea-sized amount and dot it on your forehead and cheeks. Blend quickly with your fingers. It sets to a matte finish faster than you might expect, so swift application is key. Applying it while there's still some oiliness from sunscreen (or emulsion) allows for a more even application and slower setting time, which is why I often use this method.

A pea-sized amount is enough to cover the whole face. I recommended it to a coworker who also likes it. I use it sparingly, so while it doesn't provide heavy coverage, it evens out the skin tone and creates a natural, glowing complexion.
ConsThe shade is a bit dark. Those with fair skin might want to avoid this. I'm deducting one star due to the color range.

What's particularly impressive is that despite its hydrating formula, it doesn't transfer easily or break down quickly. Usually, products this moisturizing tend to smudge and have poor longevity, but this one manages to stay put while keeping the skin feeling fresh.
ConsThe biggest drawback is definitely the price. There are many foundations at lower price points that perform just as well, so it's hard to justify splurging on this one.
