  I love the color payoff - it's natural and just what I wanted. Plus, it's so convenient to carry around!

  Pros

  I've been using this for about a year now. While I used Vaseline for moisturizing in the dead of winter, I carry this one around as my portable option. Let me give you my honest review. The good points are that its elongated shape makes it less likely to get lost, and its slim design makes it perfect for on-the-go use. It gives a subtle pink tint, adding a touch of life even to a bare face. That's about it for the positives. It's similar to a regular lip balm, but there are a few downsides I'll mention next.

  It emphasizes dead skin cells. Somehow, even after applying generously and wiping it off, it seems to make flaky skin more noticeable. The hydration isn't as deep as I'd like. Applying it intermittently throughout the day somehow makes the flakiness worse. Because of this, while I do use it, I don't think it'll work well in the depths of winter.

  Pros

  The design is slim and pretty. The price is also affordable. It has a subtle, shimmering pink shade that was exactly the color I wanted.

  Cons

  This is the worst lip product I've ever tried. The long-shaped lip balms from Nivea have terrible hydration. On chapped lips, it feels like you're just applying oil. At first, it seems moisturizing, but after a few minutes, it feels like only grease remains. Moreover, when you apply this, it causes severe dead skin cells on your lips. It feels slippery yet rough at the same time. To make matters worse, if you keep it in a warm indoor space during winter, it breaks easily, so you have to apply it very gently.

  Tip

  If you're not concerned about hydration and just want a subtle color, I'd recommend this. If only the hydration was better, I would have used it religiously. Such a shame!
